'83 Duran vs '87 SRL at middleweight

    Just as I see it. Would be fairly close on the cards though.

    Well, for obvious reasons, Dura by 1983, and against a Hagler type man, Duran had to become a counter-puncher since he wa no longer able to out-muscle an opponent or bully him during a fight at weights of 155 pounds or more... At least not the "A & B" competition at Middleweight and Super-Middle....

    In fact, Duran only bullied Moore at 154 based on savvy and seasoning, but Moore was actually physically stronger in 1983..... Moore was just too much a rookie / green at that juncture to handle Duran... I also do NOT wanna here and ****in' bull**** about Duran's thumb in round 1 or Moore's extraction of a couple of teeth a week prior to the fight.... Moore looked pumped and psyched at the opening bell for Duran at MSG!

    NOW! Truth is, at 154 Duran was not stronger or able to bully either "Benitez or Hearns." Screw Cuevas altogether, he never was on par with Duran in the sklls dept..... WORD!

    Cuevas in 1983 was not near what he was at welt. Duran was still good in 1983, and like always it depended on his opponents style. A quick guy beats him, but a slower guy who fights inside struggles with Roberto.
