It's hard for Klitschko haters to understand that smarter people actually can "Change" their minds when a champion has proven himself:patsch....

Yep Byrd was no joke. Would I favor Lennox in a Byrd matchup? Yes of course. But Byrd would have a chance to out point Lennox for a close decision. Like you said ...Lewis didn't face many southpaws.

And all this bull**** talk about Lennox steamrolling Wlad is nonsense. Wladimir would have hand speed, foot speed, power, and lets face it ...ring intelligence advantages over Lewis if they fought. If Rahman was able to clip Lewis and put him out then it's pretty safe to say Wladimir would have a more than good shot at doing it too.

The reason is cause 1 Johnson is a draw. 2 cause Johnson style isn't flat out boring like Bryd. Did you watch Bryd vs Holyfield? Holyfield won the first round clearly but then he messed up his shoulder badly in the 2nd round in which it shows in that fight vs Bryd in which is the reason why Bryd won that fight rather easily. Lewis in the first fight clearly beat a better version and healther Holyfield.

Lewis wouldn't be playing around with Wlad like he did in the first fight with Rahman in which was Lewis mistake. Lewis ain't stupid he knows Wlad has pop so Lewis will be prepare vs Wlad.

    3. Johnson sucked, easy win (but would instead suffer by getting KOd in 2 by Vitali)

Yea he sucked in which he was easily outboxing Ruiz but did the Golata habit of low blows in which Ruiz got a lucky dq win.

johnson was very highly thought of at the time. a bit like michael grant. history is not kind to american (or canadian) hypejobs but they were very well regarded opponents.

I repeat, the number of poeple who think that Byrd would have had a chance agaisnt Lewis is miniscule. Go ahead, make a poll.

thats because ppl have seen byrd ripped apart twice by wlad which is why they will say it...lewis had trouble with south paws alone never mind tricky ones like byrd..it would have been an intresting fight because of that fact alone..im a huge lewis fan and would have loved to see him pit his wit against byrd..any true boxing fan and not a fan boy who just always has to be right in order to hate another would have loved to seen it aswell..:good

Don't be ridiculous. I am actually a fan of Byrd's, Lewis', and both Klits. No fighter with a punch as light as Byrd's would have troubled Lewis. Never mind being a southpaw- he could have had four arms and it wouldn't have mattered.

As for being a fan boy- you got your man in your avatar, so I guess we know who the fanboy is. You even gave yourself up in your statement- you want to think it would have been interesting because Wlad dominated Byrd twice, so it pays for you to think Lewis might have has some trouble there.

Man, I like the Klits, but its silly, angry statements like this that remind me why some people hate the stupid element amongst their fans.

POST SCRIPT: I repeat, make a poll stupid. Then log in under all your gay aliases and vote as many times as you like, as still watch and see that no one else was interested in this fight.

    Champions fight everyone.
Belt holders who toss belts are not champions.
Every long term Champion has boring fights, Ali, Holmes, even Tyson.
If I remember correctly it was Lewis who said the fight would be boring. Time after time. I read it in the newspapers....and didn't think a small guy like Byrd stood much of a chance.
Looks like was wrong way back then.

So odd really when you think of it, Champions and Challengers drum a fight...and Lewis spent a lot of time anti-drumming up a fight...two....fights.

Odd he didn't holler I want Sanders either come to think of it....obviously a boring fight.
OH forgot, he didn't want Sanders he wanted Roy....a skinny little fella, but Roy wanted all the marbles.
Odd how Lewis did not drum that fight either.
Surely he could have worked Roy down to an even split of 15 mill a piece....but it was only Roy hollering I want Lewis.
    Boring fight right?

Boring meaning he'd have trouble KO'ing the little dude Byrd or boring in he'd KO the little dude in two?

Same goes for boring Ruiz...the guy had worked his way up to be mandatory...which is why you have a mandatory...so the 'champion' can not always cherry pick, whom he thinks he has an easy time with.

Yep Ruiz was boring....so what. He was the mandatory. And Earned a title shot, boring or not. Dangerous boring.

You want to talk Boring Ali vs Who the Euro bum. Holm's and fighting 6 kiddy prospects of 10-15 fights with only one man with 22 fights inside that Kiddy Parade. Holmes dropped his belts for the IBF which allowed him to continue to beat up kiddy prospects. Boring.

Yep Lewis dodged Ruiz and Byrd...truth is the truth, boring or not...they were men who earned a crack at the championship.
So Lewis gets bored for a Million and not non bored for three million.

Yep, a rematch with Vittilie for $15-20,000,000 was too boring as was...just ask Lewis, who was quite willing to beat small fat Johnson for peanuts.
