Except in a game of percentages Floyd would lose against Pacquiao. Fighting a southpaw changes the game completely. Floyd's defense isn't what it normally is , he's a lot more hittable and if the way he's dealt with southpaws in the past is any indication of how he'd fight Pacquiao, he loses the fight plain and simple. His problem is he only looks for one punch at a time, and covers up every other time , and that strategy isn't going to work on Pacquiao. Clottey played the game of percentages with Pacquiao and look what happened to him. Watch the Ortiz fight coming up and you'll see what I mean.

I've said since this bout has been talked about, that Pacquiao will win the first couple of rounds. Mayweather will get his range with his straight right (pierce through Pacquiao's guard)...and a number of other shots, and it will start getting harder for Pacquiao. But Pacquiao is relentless, and always has been. If he realises someone is getting the better of him, he steps up a level...this is were Mayweather has to step up also, otherwise he could become overwhelmed.

Pacquiao's output will drop, that's almost a certainty. Mayweather needs to get Pacquiao into thinking about what he is doing, Pacquiao has become more of a composed thinking fighter in recent years...but up against Mayweather, if you think too much, or think about what you are going to do next without doing it...you already have a straight right in your face.

Late in the fight there is a chance that Pacquiao could become too reckless/impatient and walk onto a big shot (Mayweather can hurt Pacquiao just like Pacquiao can hurt Mayweather) that he doesn't see. But there is also the chance that Mayweather can become too comfortable, and Pacquiao steps it up quickly and catches Mayweather.

A very intriguing bout that should have happened already.

Hopefully, emmanuel takes his beating from Floyd first before sending in his little buddy.

That is such Bull****; they both fought an old, slow and decrepit Mosley. Both of them were unimpressive in beating him despite winning every round...

    Stop being a revisionist historian.

Why can't people be more reasonable when talking about Floyd and Pac? Why do these fighters bring out the stupid in people?

    Shut the **** up.

When mayweather fought him he was past his prime, just as floyd was, but not shot, infact he was looking as good as ever and had a great training camp.

When Pacquiao cherry picked him, he was shot to pieces.

    Learn the facts *****

Manny gives up his southpaw advantage by being so aggressive, so the need for Mayweather to fight an aggressive fight where by he pressures Manny, is rendered irrelevant. Manny, by being so aggressive in this fight, will make Mayweather look like the southpaw.

Very good point, even with the judah early rounds both fighters were playing the waiting game with Judah actually coming out on top. Pac don't do this, he can't do this.

Floyd will tee off on him.
