Yeah man, feints are a totally new invention in boxing, no one back in the 50s would ever have thought to do that

You're starting to sound like a Mayweather nuthugger. They seem to be the only posters who do not realize there is virtually nothing new in boxing. Go watch some Walcott fights, and come back when you know what the **** you are talking about.

Its not the size or bark of the dog its the bite. Ali, Marciano, Tunney, Louis, prime Tyson, and Liston are exceptions that would of competed in any era regardless of weight. Even former CWs and LHWs Holyfield, prime Moorer, Charles, and Spinks would of and HAVE more than held their own. Bob Hayes in the 60s at 5'10" 180lbs ran a 8.6 on a 100 meter dash thats faster than 6'2" 200lbs Usaiin Bolt. Science helps, but its no guarantee to greatness. He was flatfooted too.

Bullet Bob was 6'1, never broke 10 seconds, and would be considered a journeyman today

Not all of them utilized it like they do today. Why do you think the boxers that had initial success utilized it a lot. You could use tricks a lateral movement to nullify your opponents strengths, because it was something they weren't used to seeing.

I hate Mayweather just as much as you do. Nothing new in boxing? How about a sport that evolved from bare knuckles? Come back when you actually watch a fight instead of spewing garbage, ****in idiot.

I think he's Michigan Warrior. The thing that aggravates me about alts is that I end up with the same guy on my ignore list under 4 or 5 different screen names.

What a load of bollocks. Are you out of your ****ing mind? Sure, feel free you can nitpick his weaknesses and say he'd get knocked out cold you nuthugging ******. We've got roided up one dimensional ****ers today.

Armstrong would of relentlessly destroyed and pounded Manny Pacquiao.

Seriously, Ali wouldn't be able to compete in today's era? Today's era is mother****ing B level at best with the exception of the gigantic Klitschko brothers.

Troll account? Sorry I don't have 3,000+. Let me guess, you are one of those people who assumes that since you have been here longer, you are automatically right? I bet slave owners used that same logic.

I love hearing people like you be so stubborn. It's almost comical to see someone resort to pointing out how many posts I have and use that as a basis for an argument. Hell, RJJ could join this board tomorrow and not know more than you, right?

what are you talking about you ******? nobody threw bolo punches better than Gavilan and he was fighting half a century ago. as for feints, I don't see anybody pulling off shoulder feints like the masters McGirt or Ricardo Lopez and they were only from two decades ago.

SRL and RJJ trump anyone you just mentioned in terms of feints and trickeration. RJJ won fights without even punching, the opponents didn't know what to do.

Quarry, Bonavena, and Chuvalo would all be top 10 heavyweights today just like they were in their own era. I can't see any of them beating Wlad even though Quarry used to make beating big men look easy. All 3 would terrorize Adamek, Haye, Arreola, et.
