Calzaghe must be top 10 atg ?

I can only fairly judge fighters of the last 23 years but Calzaghe 46-0 winner of 24 world title fights, greatest SMW ever WBO (21 defences) WBC WBA IBF Ring SMW champ, Ring LHW champ with the names Eubank, Jones, Hopkins, Lacy, Mitchell, Kessler on his resume says that Calzaghe is right up there.

To think if Hopkins wins another world title fight he will have won as many world title fights as Calzaghe.

Just think how all these American legends
Jones
Hopkins
Nunn
Toney

Havent won as many world title fights and any in the SMW division where Calzaghe rules he has a better resume than all of these fighters and in just 2 LHW fights Calzaghe has a better resume than Nunn and Toney and has a win over Hopkins and Jones

Do you remember Popkins how I made you look a c#nt when you tried to compare R Allen to M Veit , M Veit had a far superior resume.

The win Calzaghe had over Veit was a very good victory.
The first time Calzaghe beat Veit, Veit was 30-0 and hadnt beaten anyone of real note, hence he was blown away in a round by Calzaghe.
When Calzaghe beat Veit a 2nd time Veit was an accomplished world rated 45-1 fighter who had some solid victories behind him, and was top 10 rated.
Veit had beaten undefeated Dziarra who wasnt a great fighter but did go on to beat L Mock and undefeated M Oral who would go on to challenge MW champs A Abraham and S Sylvester recently.
Veit had also beaten beaten undefeated Guerrero for the European union title.
Veit beat future title challenger Salem and Mock.
Veit also beat world rated C Brewer with an educated destructive 9th round KO.
A note on Veit. He only ever lost to world champs or fighters who became world champs and has victories over Mock, Salem, Perdermo (a future Kessler challenger), Brewer when Brewer was world rated and Veit beat undefeated Braehmer who is now the current WBO LHW champ due for a unification fight in JAN 2011. As for Pudwill he deserves respect
Consider how Hopkins is given so much credit today, but remember that Pudwill was undefeated in 24 fight. In that many fights Hopkins was 22-2-0. Amazing statistically Pudwill had a better record than Hopkins at this time. Consider how Hopkins is so highly rated today, yet 8 times Hopkins has been unable to win a fight compared to 7 times for Pudwill. The first 2 times Hopkins challenged for a MW title were for vacant titles. Pudwill was always that bit braver and challenged away to champion greats of his division, whilst Hopkins was trying to price himself out.
After losing to Calzaghe Pudwill went on to take Pazienza to a close dec loss, whilst Hopkins straight after losing to Calzaghe had to take on a fighter 2 divisions lower to build confidence

I cannot believe so many of you took the OP seriously and didn`t read his post correctly.

Joe Calzaghe is without doubt the best ever Welsh super middleweight of all time and he is definitely in the top 10 of atg Welsh fighters.

There is no way the OP was talking about Joe Calzaghe being in the top 10 of atg world fighters as that is being plain silly and he would make himself look a complete idiot even thinking it let alone suggesting it on a boxing forum.

OK, that might have been a tad harsh. Just for his talents, it's pretty terrible. He should have dropped the WBO belt a LONG time ago and faced better guys. It's no secret the WBO has the worst rankings of the big 4.

BTW, no one said he was supposed to lose to Manfredo. At least no one serious or credible.
