Journey Of Doom-----Vauxhall People Carrier.........Time Line Of Events...........

March 8th 2008

11.00pm - Marriott Hotel - Paddington London - Maccarinelli and Joe Calzaghe are sitting down on the table having a game of Dominoes. Jo Emma Larvin is in the bathroom getting ready - dolling herself up - aware she is going to be front row ringside in front of a worldwide TV audience in just a couple of hours time.

Enzo Calzaghe is watching the hotel TV - lying down on the bed and scratching his balls.

11.30pm - Joe Calzaghe is declared the winner in the game of Dominoes. They pack up the Dominoes - now Maccarinellis nerves start to kick in - with no more distractions - it wont be long before they leave for the fight.
Start packing their things into the training bag - ready for the fight.

12.00am - Jo Emma Larvin - says she will meet them downstairs when they are ready to go - she goes to the bar and has a couple of Vodkas to calm her nerves.

12.15am - Panic sets in - when Joe Calzaghe and his Dad - cant find Enzo - he has gone missing. .... - they search the hotel room and balcony - and downstairs - and he is no-where to be seen. :conf

12.30am - Joe and his Dad - grab all their things together because the clock is ticking - and run downstairs - to meet Jo Emma Larvin in the bar - they explain Big Enzo has gone missing. Enzo Calzaghe is then documented as saying he believed that the pressure got to much and Enzo's ass had gone :-| But where could he be ?

They ring Enzos Mobile - he is at Paddington station and he just wants to go home. :bolt

12.45am Joe and Dad and Jo Emma - qucikly jump into Enzo's Vauxhall People Carrier and race to Paddington Station - they talk Enzo into getting into the people carrier and going through with the fight.

1.00pm: Enzo Calzaghe - punches in the postcode to the O2 arena on his Sat Nav - and they start making their way to the arena.

1.05am - The Sat Nav - is telling them to "turn around when possible" - they seemed to have made a little D-Tour back on themselves.

1.10am - Vauxhall People Carrier - pulls up outside Mickys Fish and Chip Shop - Paddington London. Enzo Calzaghe goes inside to order food and comes back out and tells them - "You know what - I didnt realise - one ofn the ****ing main beam headlights on the people carrier is out you know Joe ?" :-(

1.15am - Enzo Macc and Enzo Calzaghe tuck into Pie and Chips and Fizzy Drinks. Joe Calzaghe and Jo Emma Hold Hand in the back seat - and look after the training back.

1.20am - Food is scoffed down and digested - a big burp - and a full belly. Yummy. :tong

1.21am - Empty Chip Wrappers and Cans slung out the window. "**** look at the time" screams Enzo Calzaghe as he starts the engine up.

1.30am - Enzo Calzaghe sticks on the a casette - the song YMCA - and tells everyone to sing along and do the hands signs to the song. :soccerye:

1.50am - Vauxhall People Carrier arrives in O2 car park - stop the engine - and turn the one working main beam headlight out - and rush through a back exit into the changing rooms.

1.55am - strip off - get changed. Enzo Calzaghe quickly takes Enzo Macc on the pads.

2.05am - Jimmy Lennon Jnr - announces Enzo Macc - and his ring music come on - Enzo rushs out of his changing room and runs to the ring.

2.05am - Enzo in the ring - in just 10 seconds - after breaking the 100 metre record. :arran

2.10am - Introductions over - ding ding - Round 1 !!!!!!! :bbb

2.16am - Haye traps Enzo in a corner......:vonnecuntEnzo gets back up - but all over the place.............Ref Stops Fight !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot people focus on the food when discussing this. It was actually the Vauxhall that was the problem if they had a nice new clean Chrysler Voyager there would not have been a problem.

Why was Enzo tucking into pie and chips before the fight? that isn't right

 

He didn't actually order a pie. But the older Enzo the one who speak his own made up language and drive a dirty virus infected Vauxhall instead of nice new clean Chrysler Voyager got his order wrong.

 

I know, I wonder how that would affect a fighter? :think
