Blame Arum for this. He is the one freezing Donaire out to teach him a lesson. Unbelievable how Donaires career has been frozen twice after the two biggest wins of his career. Oh yea and Suliman is also a horrible President.
Donaire will fight on the cotto vs margarito undercard, he wil still have fought 2 times this year, its no reason to take his belts away. The wbc has been doing this alot lately, stripping fighters, giving boxers belts out of nothing, ranking fighters that werent ranked before they got a title shot. the total thing is ridiculous. I like arce but if he wants that belt he has toe arn it not get it based on bull****, the wbc had no problem when berto didnt fight for long periods at welter and avoided mandatory selcuk aydin, now they want to strip bradley and donaire and all of a sudden you need to defend your title every 4 months or else...
who is Donaire fighting?? I see how Suliman does it and it can be a good thing but i know he does it by playing favorites. I wouldnt mind having the champs"forced" to fight more often. Every 4 months sounds good.
Yeah that would be ideal but atleast twice per year should be the norm in my opinion. Im not sure who Donaire will be fighting but hopefully someone good.
Wow, great stroke of luck for his legacy if he really can get to the WBC title through Esquivel instead of Donaire.
WBC should be rename the MBC mexican boxing counsel since all sulaiman cares about is looking out for the mexican fighters :hat
