Come on, the only person that might have suffered due to having fought Sergio is Williams, and that's probably as much a result of all his other defensive performances as it is his fight with Sergio. Donaire has only just gone up to 118, and he's got many good fights around that weight class - yet he's already done more than Sergio.

Martinez has beat the man at middleweight - the man that is struggling with alcoholism and is on the way down. If Pavlik ever comes back to beat a top ranked fighter I'll happily revise that statement.

Martinez is now a middleweight. He has not fought at 154 for over 2 years. Williams and Dzinziruk are not middleweights. These sentences are very simple, even you should be able to understand them. If Martinez ever goes back down to 154, then you can say he's a 154 fighter and he was so when he beat Williams and Dzinziruk.

    Until then, STFU.

No, the fighters you mention for Martinez were EX champions, meaning that they were champions in the past. The fact that they are not champions now is proof that they were either:

    1) On the way down or......

    2) Champions in a lower weight class, which has no bearing on the weight that Martinez fought them in.

Honourable exception for Pavlik, but even he is on the way down. You talk about p4p as if it means something in this instance. It means jack, and all that's important is that 2 of the names you've mentioned have done nothing at middleweight, and Cintron isn't good enough to win a belt at 154 - so he's not one of the top fighters at the weight.

    Fact.

Donaire has the best single win (and I do think he's the better fighter), but Martinez has accumulated more impressive victories over the past couple years against very recognizable fighters, and it can be easily argued that he has won every one of those fights. I think that's the reasoning people use for him being ahead.

Martinez has done more plain and simple, they are both exceptional talents though and if Donaire has another big win this year he can pass Sexy Sergio, but until then Sergio's higher.

Paul Williams was a middleweight when he fought him. Pavlik was a middleweight when he fought him. The only non-middleweight he fought was Sergiy Dzinziruk.

Please tell me you ****** piece of ****. Who at middleweight is a better opponent then the 3 listed. Please tell me, what Middleweight has a better resume then those 3 fighters.

Paul Williams has gone straight down to 154, and you say he's a Middleweight . I've always known you're a ******, so I expect this kind of statement from you. I'm not a fan of picking on "special" people, so I should ask you to stay away from the thread.

But you won't, so answer this: What has Paul Williams done at middleweight? It's the only real way you can establish how good he is at the weight. So tell me, what is his best victory at middleweight?

As for Pavlik, he won't do anything in his career from now, which shows that he is on the way down. As I said earlier, if he does get it together and beat a top-ranked fighter, I'll eat my words.

Paul Williams was ranked in the top 10 P4P when Sergio beat him. He didnt hold a strap, but many considered him the man at 154, and 2nd best at 160.

Kelly Pavlik was the man at middlewight

Sergiy was and still is a titlest at 154.

    Thus 3 champions.

Sergiy was the only one of the 3 that wasnt a middleweight. What the **** are you talking about homo?

Pavlik was undefeated at middle, and only loss was to a Light Heavyweight in Bernard Hopkins.

Pavlik was coming off 2 KO's at middleweight. Including a dominating KO over Marco Antonio Rubio who just KO'd Lemeiux.

I put more quality on P4P then holding a strap. As do most in boxing.

Let me reiterate you dont know what the **** you are talking about.

The names I listed over the last 2 years are better then the names Donaire has beaten. Nobody would say otherwise but a stupid ****** like you.

You bring up weight as if Martinez didnt fight 95% of his career at welter and light middle.

    You're a ****ing idiot. :rofl
