I am on Wes Newton at 5/1 vs Taylor.

4-1 up after first session.

Am waiting for Taylor to go odds against to lay.

The ****er is still 4/11 though.

 

5/1 is a good bet for that Grant. Taylor hardly ever goes odds against though, even when he's behind.

Was gonna back Hamilton at 4/1 earlier but never got round to it :-(

 

The ****er just took out 150 with Wes sitting on tops.

Now he has taken 128 with Newton on 65.

As long as Newton doesn't lose it mentally this will go a long way IMO. Taylor's getting older and although he still seems as determined as ever, physically I'm not sure he's got what it takes to put away 12 darters at the end of a 2 hour plus marathon match.

Ended up going down William Hill after the Chisora - Fury weigh in. Tyson Fury at 12/5. £100 on that.

Really fancy him to win big against Chisora after the weigh in. Chisora will gas after 5 rounds.

 

I'm thinking hard about betting on Fury.

If Chisora had come in a stone lighter, I'd have backed him big. I think he gets inside on Fury and goes to work. I think his head movement and ability to get inside is superior to Furys ability to keep him at range. When they are inside, I think he outworks Fury HOWEVER Fury has a very decent chin and heart so I expect him to last beyond 6 rounds no matter what.

If the fight reaches the 7th round, what will Chisora have left? Will he slow down? Will his head movement/lateral body movement slow down? Will he become easier to hit? Will he show massive signs of fatigue? This is a fighter who has never been beyond 9 rounds and is now coming into a big fight. Say what you want about Fury, he proved his heart in the first McDermott fight. Massive heart he showed there and he will not go down unless Chisora beats him to within an inch of his life. I don't think Chisora can put that much of a beating on Tyson in the first 6 rounds. If Chisora was in shape, I would fancy him to keep the pressure up for the duration but I really do think he slows down and finds himself on the end of more and more jabs and a few 255 pound right hands thrown in for good measure.

OK, I've convinced myself, Fury has to be backed!!!

no value in Workforce.

Workforce was odds on in this race last year and he was beaten - in fact he was ****ing hammered - he floped badly and came about 5th.

At even money - Workforce is no kind of value bet at all. :-(
