Klitschko vs. Adamek Express and Fight Discussion...

I read his most recent blog, very detailed game plan and strategy. He is 100% focused in camp and loves the fanbase. He believes that vitali is going to try to use the clinch to his advantage so he can hit adamek with the right and bully him with the jab. Adamek is not going to allow vitali to clinch, he is hoping to stay active and move. Angles in and out and try to keep vitali guessing. He is using the heigh difference as an advantage to get under and be slick

 

Wow, that´s different for Adamek. If true, its a gutsy strategy (or at least an element of a plan) that could pay off but its a high risk strategy too as he will be in Vitali´s wheelhouse for at least a part of the time. Why would he publicize it, especially if its something we haven´t really seen from him at HW before?

What we´ve seen from Adamek so far is usually the basic 1-2, 1-2 in and out, where Adamek usually lands more punches (albeit weaker, over extended punches) by virtue of having better speed and movement. I haven´t really seen him bobbing and weaving, getting under a guy´s punches and unleashing some hooks and uppercuts which can do a lot of damage because Adamek is a superb close range counter puncher.

If Adamek chooses to fight at close range at least a part of the time, get ready because this fight will be special. It can be a blowout but it can also be a total war.

I personally believe Adamek will be like a hornet that stings its way to a majority decission.

Of course, people will than say that Vitali was shot/old over night and Adamek will have to prove it again against Wlad.

Kathy Duva believes that Adamek's calm attitude towards Vitali is annoying Vitali. Vitali has tried to get into Adamek's head at the conferences and tries to scare him but Adamek just smiles and respects him. Vitali can't verbally crack Adamek, he has full motivation and nothing that Vitali says is effecting Adamek :hat

 

Should be a good fight. We will see a guy who will actually fight Vitali.

Another update: Adamek is sparring with Deontay Wilder already (17-0.. 17 KO) former olympian bronze medalist. He says that Wilder is tall and strong and is great training for a klitschko brother. He is getting comfortable with the height difference. His other sparring partner is Malik Scott (32-0 11 KO). Although he is shorter, his punches are stronger and that is also helpful in the training process. This is all with 46 days left!!!!

 

no news yet.. I leave on thursday for Austria... right now its all cardio work. Meal plan starts saturday then next monday starts ring work, swimming, and general boxing conditioning.... not sure when Sparring starts... ill find out and give updates:good
