Quawi would tear Tarver to shreds.

 

Tarver would clearly UD him bossing him behind a jab and countering him on the way in, far too much height and reach to allow Qawi to get going, same situation as the Spinks fight

 

Dude,you do realize that you're comparing Tarver to Michael Spinks,don't you?

 

I feel like Tarver is getting underrated again. Qawi would decision him. Tarver was a really tough guy and would never go down easy and the thing is the only way Qawi would win is by walking Tarver down and using that pressure and Tarver would certainly use his reach and ability to his own advantage. I have Qawi winning a clear decision

Which I'd agree with but it's still the same issue of dimensions/size. Qawi is still a 5'5 midgit fighting a huge 6'3 southpaw, with fast hands, a potent jab and plenty of power in that straight left. That's just too much range for Qawi to get past

Tarver is getting underrated here, someone posted 'I don't think Tarver has the power to keep him off' atsch I suggest watching Harding 2, Griffin and Jones Jr 2 if anyone thinks that

 

It doesn't just take size & a jab to beat a Peak Qawi at lightheavy...

Spinks is one of the absolute greatest lightheavy champions in history, & in H2H terms he's right up there in the lightheavy top 3. :deal

 

No it doesn't but Tarver has plenty of tools to get the job done, Tarver's underrated, he has his weaknesses but he's at his best when fighters come to him, especially midgets and Tarver is physically a monster at the weight

I don't think Spinks is a top3 LH in history, H2H or legacy wise

 

Calling Qawi a midget doesn't make him any less superior to Tarver.

It's like when general forum guys call Tyson a midget & say he's "too small" to beat a Klit brother.

I think you're just purposely trying to go against the grain here. Tarver isn't the type to keep someone like Qawi from raping him on the inside.
