Everyone has an excuse for EVERY fighter after they lose. It's pathetic. Fury beat Chisora, because Fury was much better than Chisora. It's as simple as that. To say that Chisora didn't take this fight seriously, as some are suggesting is absolutely ******ed. This was by FAR his biggest test in his career and he failed miserably. It wasn't because he wasn't prepared.... it was because Tyson Fury kicked his ass.
He weighed more than a stone over what he usually weighs, had a ring of blubber around his waist and could only fight in short bursts after round 4. What fight were you watching you ****ing moron?
I am more or less agreeing with you. Its obvious that Chisora came in in the worst shape of his career, but in reality, Fury just plain has more tools. For those saying Chisora fought in spurts- seems to me he has always been the kind of fighter that lack focus, even when the stamina is in. Fury won by a very wide margin- most who gave scores in the round by round had Fury up even more than the judges gave him credit for. So how much would dropping another 10 pounds really have added to Chisora's game?
Fury impressed me. He's 6'9',throws alot of punches and is accurate.Thats rare and them traits alone will make him difficult for any heavyweight. And he has some tools, his right hand and left hook are fast punches for a man his size, the jab not so fast but neither is Vitali's but thats something he can work on.
For what its worth Fury apparently bashed Helineus up in sparring according to Steve Bunce and has also owned prospect Mike Perez in sparring making him quit,Dont know what it means in regards to future fights with these guys but both are good future opponents for Fury.
Metal Man, I am a Fury supporter, but everyone is claiming to have beaten Helenius in sparring these days (Pulev, Haye, Fury) and yet Helenius just keeps rolling over good opposition in the ring. The division can use both Helenius and Fury- here is hoping they fight each other over a world title one of these days.
Did not see this one yet. Fury has some size and tools, and unlike many Brittish heavyweights, he isn't thinking about retirement. A few more fights, and Fury can sneak into the top ten in the world. I don't view Fury to be the equal of Helenius, Pulev, or Glazkov, but he did prove he can fight and its going to take someone very good to beat him.
