Dawson has a better workrate than Pascal. If you watch his fights against Johnson, Adamek not just his Pascal one he has a very solid workrate. Hopkins won't be able to get inside and stays on end of Dawsons left hand all night until he gets stopped

You will see. Hopkins hand picks his opponents and hasn't wanted any of Chad for years for a reason. Hes got no chance with Dawson

other than the first and the tenth, it was joe doing the work and landing more shots. Hopkins did the better work, but after the sixth he didn't do enough of it.

People mistake Joe looking awkward for Hopkins doing better than he was. I'll rewatch it at some point soon though to see if it's how I remember it. Pretty sure quite a few on here scored it for Joe.

As with all these things, the ones who scored it for Bernard make so much noise it's easy to think it's a common opinion. Barry Mcguigan gave it to Joe on the night too, IIRC.

 

Did he outwork him though? No he threw combinations that made the crowd get excited then rested for 30 seconds. Dawson threw more in that fight.
