Well, I'd guess you could say orthodox fighters gave him more long-term struggles, but Southpaws pose more immediate dangers. More likely to catch him flush early, more likely to surprise him, more likely to make him touch the canvas more likely to put him on the defensive- those are immediate dangers that lesser fighters let escape and great fighters take advantage of; whereas his toughest orthodox fighters consistently challenged him over 12 rounds, but ended up losing. That's the difference.

Demarcus Corley had Miguel Cotto doing the chicken dance, and recently even though he is nothing more then a journeyman fighter now, gave Maidana hell.

Yet Floyd got clocked once in a fight he stood and traded with Corley for the majority of the fight?

    Do tell!

    ****ing *******s lol.

Yes I'm aware that Mayweather often uses a shoulder roll, and he also employs a more conventional defensive stance as well. While the shoulder roll dose leave an orthodox boxer open to southpaws it also allows for the stright right left hook combo that is best for fighting southpaws to be thrown more easly than a conventional stance. It's a dubble edged sword.

When you can stand in the pocket and trade for the entire fight and not come out with a scratch. Yep you kinda get that tag.

Sorry to disapoint you gents but Pac is not the one. I know hes a little terror but his ass is made for Money to shine on. Now, Ortiz is ok but hes a little to stiff with his ****. Khan on the other hand is fast and fluid, got good height and heart. With a little more seasoning under his belt , hes gonna be a force and threat to any fighter at 147 including Money. What makes this game so interesting is that Money knows it too.Hes got Ortiz at the right time so hes gonna wax that ass and then go after everybodys favorite pit bull Manny. Hes gotta get Manny before Khan gets bigger and the demand for him to fight Khan becomes bigger than the one to fight Manny. Now thats ****ing with the dollors and Floyd dont play that ****. After Manny, I think hes done. We will still have three excellent and potential great fighters at WW. Ortiz, Khan , and Mike Jones. Pac is ready to go too because after the Money fight, his only option is to drop down and go to war at 140. I know I went way off the topic but what the hell. Sue me.:bbb:bbb:bbb

Sorry, that fight wasn't even close. For a world class fight it was an embarrasment for ODLH. Floyd even broke a defensive compu-box record. See it again - almost none of the punches land.

Don't apologize to me. I feel it was a clear win for Floyd. I'm just stating a fact that SOME people still feel Floyd lost. I don't know what fight they watched. Even though floyd clearly Won and oscar stop landing, the judges ruled it a close SD, so floyd ALMOST lost Don't just assume I feel that way because I said "some"
