Let's be honest folks. Fury and Chisora are nowhere close to be even fringe contenders. It was an entertaining bar brawl but not more than that. It's good Chisora was dismantled as a potential Wlad opponent because he was utterly horrible and doesn't belong near a world title shot. Neither does Fury though unless he takes quantum leaps in stamina, boxing skill, hand speed etc. etc. Maybe Fury can improve in the next 4-5 years but go compare a 21 year old Wlad (mopping the floor with a top 15 HW Schulz) to a 23 year old Fury. The discrepancy in skill and ring generalship is shocking.
I actually want Fury to get a Klitschko slave contract so he can fight Wlad and Vitali and get brutally destroyed by both.
Id say he lacks allot more than power. Punching technique, footwork, defence to name a few. Hes an arm puncher at best. He is tough though, showed a reasonable chin.GL to him
Fury is awful He looked unimpressive against an equally unimpressive fighter, moving his head quickly? What to get out of the way of Chisora's wildly telegraphed swings?
I'm really not sold on him. His punching technique is poor - he doesn't turn his shots over and throws a lot of ARM punches. He stands straight-on far too often for my liking and the fact a woefully out-of-shape Chisora could hit him with ridiculously wide, looping shots doesn't say much for his defence. He's young and he's fought decent opponents considering his lack of experience but I really can't see him progressing to world-class.
He had an amorphous mass of blubber walking straight onto him and hardly throwing - he couldnt help but look good compared to Del Boy - he carries his left so low he was begging to be tagged - but Fat Boy was in no shape at all to exploit the openings on offer all night . he showed he had the stamina to go 12 rounds but seriously lacks power in relation to his size - but he turned up in shape and looked like a heavyweight athlete , not a 261 lb junk food addict.
Fury needs to improve in every area and in a massive way. His foot work is poor, he gets hit far too easily, his work rate can be suspect and he just doesn't seem to be fit enough. He really needs someone to whip him into shape. He's got potential but needs to be handled very carefully, talk of him facing off for a World title anytime soon is a complete joke. He needs to work on his body and fitness, sort out his defence and build up his self-confidence asap. David Price is the best British prospect in my view.
Why are people hatin on him? Manny said he is the future of HW boxing? What impresses me must about Fury:he is only 22 years old and is got an iron chin, he took some hard shots from Chisora. He got 8 years then he is the same age as that **** fat of Arreola, and 5 years to Chisora. As long as fury doesn't step in the ring with Wlad, and Steward wil become his trainer, then he might become a great HW champion in the future
