Good prospects dont get the time to develop anymore - 2 years tops and he'll be thrown in with Wlad and get owned .

a shame but thats the way it is these days .

Pushing 17000 posts and you're comparing Fury to Adamek?

    Are you a teenager?

I wasn't impressed at all. The fight was a nice local scrap but that's it. Fury looked like a guy who came from MMA to try his wings.

Can't believe that Steward is using his time on him.

I beg to differ. He has the development of any joe off the street.

I realize power is not all attributed to muscularity, as other factors such as leverage and technique also come into play. But Fury lacks the basics of powerpunching.....a minimumal amount of muscluarity.

Don't get me wrong. I know he should obviously not be Shannon Briggs big, no, but Fury can't be that powerful, from a strengh standpoint, with no more musclarity than he has.

Being 6 foot 9, and the leverage he apparently has, and given his reach advantage he has over EVERYone...., if he were to improve his physical trength, and also his techique, he could possibly become a devastating puncher from the outside....as Wlad is.

There is alot of negative hate here for Fury.

In terms of power, yes he does lack this, but this can be improved through using proper technique.

However, in terms of becoming a major force in boxing he has so much to learn that he needs a top trainer ASAP!

Even at this stage Price would stop him. I truly believe Price is way too good for him at this point, so he needs to avoid that and get another 5-6 fights over the next two years and improve in almost every area before stepping it up.

    That is constructive criticism:good

He is only 22! Give him time to mature and improve as a fighter before you judge him so harshly.

He's the British champion; he's there to be judged.

Just for comparison. Wlad at 23y:

I'll give the guy props for his chin, that's about it.
With the proper guidance though he could definetly make something of his career.

Have a feeling K2 will give him a shot before he's ready though. Getting his ass kicked could be the catalyst for seeking proper help.

Obviously he will never be as good as Wlad, im not claiming that. But when Wlad was Furys age he got stopped by Purity. And look how Wlad improved. Not trying to discredit wlad or make fury out to be better than he is, buy my point is Fury can improve. Rarely do heavyweights hit their peak at his age.

    Fury really didn't impress me.

Chisora lost the fight as much as Fury won it. He came in way too heavy and was knackered by the 5th round. He'd go half a round at a time having a rest!

    Though his chin was impressive.

I feel Fury would have lost this fight if Chisora hadn't blown his opportunity and come in fat. Chisora would have got him in rounds 2-5.

Unless Fury improves I think eventually David Price will take those titles off him. But there is plenty of room for improvement and Fury is still young, so he's a wildcard.

Fury could end up as good as Valuev or as bad as Julius Long. He will never be as good as Wlad, but his reach makes him formidable.

Adamek is not a 6"9 giant.
