Good point just like being ripped doesn't really mean you are in shape.

Are you really saying zab wasnt in shape? He wasnt winded at all, he wasnt able to land. Khan was too good on his feet and showed excellent angles.

Part of the equation was whitaker had a wrong game plan and the other part was Khan is a full class level above Judah who is easily still a B level fighter.

What I am saying is that if Judah has never been beaten that badly, even by PBF, and PBF is that much older and Khan is at the peak of his game. I smell trouble. I rarely say it about anyone but IMO.....

Khan is the next p4p material.

There was another brit fighter who went by Ricky Hatton. He beat the over the hill version of a prior Mayweather victim in impressive fashion by body shot stoppage before the halfway mark of the fight. We all know what happened when that guy fought Floyd.

Zab was half a decade older when Amir fought him.

I don't think Amir Khan at this point would really give Floyd too much of a problem.

Having said that, there's been plenty of good fighters I thought Floyd would beat easily but didn't fight. So, who knows. However, since Khan is under the GBP banner, it might actually get done.

Floyd himself admits that he cant move with the legs like he did when he was 24 yrs old when he fought Corrales.

Thats what happens as you get older. Floyd will have a disadvantage in foot speed, hand speed and punching power.

So is his defense still that elite? Maybe so and Im just wrong, wont be the first or last time. I am seeing the potential in Khan, the guy has p4p all over him.

Leon, do you really not see the skill difference between Khan and Hatton? I mean really? Hatton was a cherry picking mugger who relied on strength.

Khan has elite boxing skills. Foot movement, angles, hand speed, he really turns guys impressively.

I don't know about that. I think Zab was losing on the cards against Mabuza before he got the KO out of nowhere and was spending large portions of the fight not throwing. In my opinion, he didn't look very good against Mabuza.

So you disagree that Zab is even a B level fighter at this point? I would like you to make an argument for if it.

Look at who he beat and which version of that guy he beat last night though. Can he do that against an elite of the elite?

Amir gets his one jab a time tactic timed, and it's rights hands over the top of that jab from there on. Amir is the type of guy who needs to set everything up with his jab.

Floyd's footwork is much better than Amir's footwork. Amir's feet can get clumsy. Maidana, who wasn't even cutting off the ring, had Amir scrambing with the feet.

I just said I didn't think he looked very good at all in his last fight.

Sure he got the KO, but KOs tend to make people forget what happened in that fight. Sort of like how people blew Alexander's win over Urango out of proportion, they forgot that he was getting hit a little bit too easy against Urango and Witter.

Khan looked superb in a fight that was supposed to be competitive. Khan is definitely a better fighter than Ortiz and even tho I dont expect Khan to beat Floyd, Khan in no way is going to get schooled by anyone including Floyd. To those critics thinking hes the glass jawed chump that got owned by Prescott you need to get your head out your ass. Now its Khan being the one avoided and possibly the best 140lber aside from Bradley. Both those guys are legitimate threats to Manny and Floyd.
