Who is more overrated & underrated? Floyd Mayweather, Jr or Manny Pacquiao

We are all entitled to our own opinions here so just bust whatever comes through your mind.

I believe the media gives way too much hype on Manny Pacquiao this is why I believe he is overrated. There are sparring videos of him on youtube and also a whole lot of stuff that includes him.

Looking at Floyd Mayweather, Jr hes underrated people don't give him the credit he deserves the man worked hard for a undefeated score and no one really gives him the props. There are training videos of him but most likely no sparring at all? They are rare to find.

I'm a fan of both fighters but I believe there is more hype on Pacquiao than Floyd.

No doubt his ability has a lot to do with Mayweather's undefeated record, but also him knowing what fights to take (and more importantly what fights not to take) and when to take them --(Gatti, Baldomir, Ortiz types, retirements, vacations, instead of the Tszyu's, Cotto's, Pac's, Margarito's, P.Williams...making Hatton go up and skipping the catchweight vs Marquez at welter, old Mosley off a 16 month layoff)-- played a big part.

They both get extremely overrated, though Mayweather gets overrated more in mythical mathcups vs ATGs (considering he avoided the best of his era), but Pacquiao has atleast fought everyone he had to besides Mayweather from 126-47 and has earned his hype

 

pacquiao has actually maximized his potential and actually had people say he overdid what was expected of him. meanwhile, with floyd's talent and skills, he should have done much more.

floyd also wins fantasy fights because of his head-to-head ability and is a matter opinion. pac is more proven resume wise although he does not fare well on fantasy matches. this is how people are rating each fighter and might help you decide who is overrated and not.

what part of what he says isnt true? Both are overrated,mayweather in h2h matchups and pac in his ranking as the goat by some *******s.
On the other hand they are the 2 best fighters of this moment.
Its true that floyd should have done more with his potential, he is extremely talented yet has 3 fighters currently active that rank higher on the atg list.
