First off Pernell's attempt to change Zab into a defensive wizard isn't and never will be the right style for Judah, he struggled to mount any type of offense, he put to much emphasis on defense and counter punching, which against Khan for Judah was the wrong gameplan because of the speed, size and reach advantage for Khan...

What Zab should have done which isnt his strength is get on the inside and make it a fight in the trenches, it is what it is, Khan is good at what he does, its gonna be hard to out box him, you have to get up in him and rough him up the way Marcos did...

I can see fighters like Bradley, Ortiz & Matthysee beating Khan with their pressure style, thats what its gonna take to beat him, I can also see if he moves to 147 Mayweather beating him with his superior skills and defense, call me crazy but I think Mike Jones can beat him with his size, reach advantage and style, he has a good jab and good boxing ability...

Floyd has never had blazing hand speed (good hand speed yes). Fact is, Judah has better hand speed than floyd which is well demonstrated in their fight.

Khan was considerably faster than Judah. Yet you agree with every other point I made apparently.:smoke

Khan would struggle to land on Mayweather. Khan has great speed but Mayweather has amazing timing and is very smart when it comes to distance. His an extremely accurate puncher.

From what i've seen of Khan is that he is very good but I still favor Tim to beat him because of styles, of its cliche but styles make fights and Zab doesn't have the right style, its gonna take a special kind of boxer to out box Khan and I can only think of one I would favor over him...

Now lets not overrate Khans win here, it was a decent win but Zab looked pretty much the same against Mabuza and against Lucas and that was average...

I think Ortiz would beat the hell out of Khan

No, Floyd will beat him like a drum and probably stop him, I don't even think he could beat Berto or Ortiz.

    :lol::rofl:patsch

PBF would knock Khan spark out just like Hatton got his Glass Jaw shattered in brutal and embarrassing fashion.

PBF beat a much better version of Judah.

Yea I think not so much his speed and height would give Floyd probkems, but Khan is getting better and better with his combination punching, but Floyd is a perfectionist and even tho I do think he will struggle, Floyd is the superior infighter and he'll expose that wide left hook of Khans. Leonard got outboxed by Hearns before stopping him I think Khan might even beat Floyd at long range and Floyd will have to play role of the aggressor. Khan is very fast on his feet and keen on fighters that try to infight him Khan tries to avoid that as much as possible. Hes throwin nice bodyshots too which I think is key to beating Maywether since his head is to hard to hit cleanly other than a great jab which Khan also has. Acouple yrs ago world laughing at Khan and Ortiz I think not so much anymore.

Really he looked the same? he didnt win any second of any rd versus Khan, got his face busted up. His right cheek was all puffed out like he had a broken jaw, his eyes were swollen, he was bleeding from the nose and the mouth and he never once won even one rd and he barely landed and then he got KO'd.

This is the same outcome as winning a close decision against a really good fighter (matthyse) and TKO another guy?

this is the new "Super Judah", more defensive minded and more cautious. I think the old "Super Judah" would have fared better against Khan. He needed that kill or be killed mentality going into this fight. In the end I do not hink it really would have mattered, I think Khan would came out on top because Zab has never came out on top of a world class fighter and is a bit long in the tooth as well.

I think PBF would love to get in the ring with Khan right now. PBF is Old school like Bhop and he knows the best time to get at a young fighter is before they reach their peak. Right now PBF has forgotten more about boxing the khan has ever learned and dismantle him over twelve rounds easily pulling away in the end . . . but it would be a go fight early on and I would love to see it

Khan was good but I am sure Floyd isn't too worried. He knows where the real money is.

I do agree with the statement that Whitaker tried to make Zab into a defensive fighter that just isnt Zab. Zab was best when he was stepping hard and throwing power shots. Wrong style for Khan IMO.

Khan will look better vs pure boxers rather than brawlers. Thats why I feel he has a decent styles match up for floyd.

lastly, Floyd wants to remain undefeated at all costs. IMO he will def think hard about fighting Khan.

Good post on the 1st paragraph I dont agree with the 2nd but thats why we are here to discuss opinions and argue back and forth. IMO khan has really progressed under roach. He is learning more and more. he looks better and better.
