Why is Khan in such a hurry to move to welter?

He can be dominant in this division for a while longer, how much did he weigh last night in the ring? It seems to me its either weight issues or its because he is chasing mayweather.

 

having trouble making weight and the money is at 147 right now. khan looked huge at 140 last night.

 

He says he wants to retire at 28. The big fights must happen soon in order to do so.

 

Its a big mistake, the guy isn't that big a puncher and he leaves himself wide open when he punches, against bigger guys with longer reaches, he will have problems IMO.

 

I think Khan weighed 151 and Judah was right behind at 150. I think.

 

Getting brutally knocked out is very easy when you have that kind of chin. Why risk the payday from fighting Mayweather?

He's starting to find it harder to make weight apparently.

 

I feel the same way, at 140 he can basically dominate most guys and create more of a legacy. I think he is made for welterweight though but unfortunately for him his chin belongs at feather.

 

150 on fight night.

Not much left as Bradley is a punk and plus wants to cherry pick Shane Mosely but do think he should have a couple of fights ie Mathysse, Alexander and hopefully Bradley just to gain experience before moving up.

 

I think he's really having trouble making weight. Steward said during the HBO commentary that Khan looked physically dominating compared to Judah, and that it looked like "a welterweight fighting a light welterweight" in there. Lampley also mentioned that Khan had bulked up significantly since the Maidana fight.

He's just naturally getting a lot bigger with his age.

 

Im not sure he gets that far, I think he will face morales next, he wins that fight but im not sure if khan beats kell brook.

I think Khan batters Kell Brook. He should definitely take that fight when he moves up.
