Floyd knows how to walk opponents down. He did it against Zab, Mosley, soon Ortiz, and has various times farther back in the past.

First let me address his right eye was swollen from a headbutt and from that butt on Zab looked like he got discouraged and didnt wanna fight anymore, now as for did he look the same yes Zab looked the same unfortunately for him his opponent was different and a bad style match up for him, Zab tried to do the same things he did in his previous two fights set traps and counter punch...

Only problem was Khan was too fast and too agile, he used combinations and angles to keep Zab of balance, in his fight with lucas Zab won the early rounds by using defense and pretty much Zab won most of his rounds with two and three solid punches landed and thats sad, his lack of offense cost him the fight and I think if he wouldn't have landed that counter left that he set up to pretty muvh finish Mabuza he would have lost thay fight aswell and many believe he lost to Lucas...

So yes he looked the same as far as his gameplan, he just couldnt execute it...

Floyd dont like being the slower fighter, Floyd wont like Khan flashing them fast shots in, even in a 4 punch combo Khan would land at least 1 or 2, Floyd wont like it, it wont be natural to him.

    How will he react?

Money aint shaking in his boots but he has good foresight and he knows Khan is growing into a monster and he got to get him before the full moon.He aint got but a couple of years in age on Pac so hes not concerned about that so Pac is good on the back burner. If he can get Khan six to eight months after Ortiz then he stands to make a dump truck load of cash without as big a risk and he can still close the show with Pac. Its about timing. and you know, with Mayweather, its always about the cash flow.:bbb:bbb:bbb

So your saying PBF is a brawler? :smoke

No your not, your saying he can fight coming forward while still counter punching with an occasional lead right hand.

That doesnt discount anything I said about Khan;s style better suited for boxers rather than brawlers (like Madaina).

Khan has serious advantages over Floyd at this stage of Floyds career. Is it enough for him to win? Who knows.

Is it enough for Floyd to consider not making a fight with him? I think so. Floyd does not want to lose that precious Zero.

Think about what you are saying. Floyd has fought guys coming off impressive victories in recent years. If anything, Amir doing good will make Floyd more inclined to fight him.

Yes of course. More so now than before. There should be an option for that.

Khan can't beat Floyd, right now, IMO. He has great handspeed, no doubt. And good reflexes, as well. He is talented, and improving. But, he is not as smart as Floyd, in the ring. Floyd will pick up on his gameplan, within 3 rds, I think. Amir will not know how to adjust until he gets back to his corner to get further instructions from Roach. Floyd will stay a few steps ahead of him. Khan is not adaptable enough yet, IMO.

In the McCloskey fight we saw Khan rushing in clumsily and repetitively all night. Had McCloskey been a sharpshooter, he could've been picking Khan off. Against Maidana, we saw him troubled by the uneducated pressure of the robotic Marcos. A fight in which Khan abandoned the body punching, he had such success early in the fight. It is evident, Khan is a bright pupil, who's still developing. He is physically ready for Floyd, but, not mentally prepared.

The version of Floyd we saw against Shane last year, beats Khan, convincingly, IMO.

I don't think this young Khan gives PBF to much trouble. But in 2 years, with some better D, a little more power........:nono Floyd will avoid him like the plague.

Leon if you are going to reply to my posts with another point that is off the argument then why reply with quotes?

I stated that brawlers will do better than pure boxers vs Khan. You then said, in so many words, that Floyd can fight as a brawler, which we both know isnt his style.

Now you say something off the point of our topic so i will assume u agreed with my previous point.

Anyhow Manny Pac would disagree that floyd likes to fight guys coming off impressive performances.

Quite possible all true. I guess my doubts are raised over the manner in which Khan dismantled judah last night. Judah fought very defensively, we all know PBF is a master of defense.

PBF is getting older though. Khan is getting better, floyd has to be declining with age (its inevitable). Khan has a lot of attributes that are advantages over PBF. Experience and timing not being two of them.

But reach, height, hand speed, power, foot speed..desire.

manny's opinion has zero credibility when it comes to who fights people coming off good wins. Victor Ortiz has more victories than manny's last 3 opponents in the last 2 years, the only one who had a win was marg vs his random tuneup in Mexico.

It's not secret that Amir does better against "boxers" than he does brawlers. Problem is Floyd is no brawler. He's a "boxer" with educated stalking skills.

Floyd has already answered questions in the past about beating up taller and bigger guys with nice jabs similar to Amir. Amir hasn't taken the test against a master boxer with enough versatility to tactically stalk yet.

Maybe you can give us an exact number since it's listed as 71 everywhere.
