Err very well - beating Zab in Vegas would be Hatton's'number two win. It surpasses Witter's entire career!

At the risk of sending the thread down a grimly predictable path, Witters record isn't really comparable to Hattons or Kahns IMHO.

Better than anything Witter ever did. Maybe past Hattons on quality of oponent?

Kotelnyk, Magic Man who is probably hattons 2nd best win, Maidana, and now Zab i know there have been the likes of Mclosky in there as well but there is some decent depth of Khans record now. THe TYzu win is always a big plus in hattons favour but take that away and the rest are more gate keepers collazo, urango, Maussa etc

He needs to fight some one who is not past their best. Bradley, Guerrero, or Brook next.

Fair enough, maybe we should look toward comparisons with Haye and Froch. I mainly listed Witter due to weight division similarities and the fact that it may curb some of the more obvious Hatton bashing.

If khan beats Bradley to completely unify the division and become undisputed he will surpass Hatton imho, if he goes on to beat a mayweather (much easier to say than to do as we all know), well he may just go down as the best brit of all time!!!

Notice how I haven't mentioned Witter, lets leave it that way. The guys a **** and nothing more...

I think he's pretty close if not on par with Hatton. Perhaps missing that defining win that Hatton had though. Khan has a lot of good scalps, but can you really say any of them are top notch? Shame Bradley's being a knob or he would have been a chance to get one.

He starches Brook imo, Bradley is a 50/50, Guerrero i'm gonna leave out cos he had a blinder at lw against Kats and lww is another step up and Khan is a big lww so dont think it will be as hard a fight as Bradley, will wait on Guerrero v Maidan fight...

Hatton had Tzuyu, even tho he wasnt at his best his scalp at lww remains a HUGE achievement. Khan so far has Maidana who is a good fighter but not a great.

Should Khan beat Bradley (tim should man the **** up) then he has to go down as a better fighter with a better career. Hatton had too many a close fights that could of gone either way whereas khan normal pitches shut outs...
