I had no clue why Bob Arum was trying to undercut Mayweather so badly on the Hatton and Cotto fights. Until I realized this is Bob Arum I am talking about.

I mean seriously, Margarito is worth 8 million, but Hatton is only worth 7? That makes absolutely no sense as Hatton had a much larger following than Margarito. Same with Cotto in my opinion.

 

Dlh played a big part in telling Floyd how much he thought he could be worth which led to Floyd buying himself out of his contract with T.R. Then came the truly negative press started by Mr. Arum himself:rofl

 

Yea, Bob believed Mayweather may still come back, but once that DLH fight took place, it was all down hill from there. Bob has been pissed he lost out on that.

I was rooting heavily for Zab Judah. I did say that Floyd didn't want any of Shane at one time.

But going back to Floyd, he don't want none of Khan. He's technically better than all the versions of any fighter that Floyd has faced. I am still skeptical of Khan's wins in Barrera and Judah. Hindsight being 20/20, the Barrera win was a lucky break for Khan. The Judah win while impressive at times (a lot actually) isn't THAT big in the grand scheme of things for Khan.

With that being said, Khan's performance is still greater than Floyd's win over Judah which some consider his best win.

I'm still amazed Judah went 12 rounds with Floyd.

In conclusion, this fight won't be made. And i'll be back here to eat crow when it does happen.

Khan's speed and size present much to big of a challenge for Floyd to ever step in the ring with him. He simply don't find really talented guys who are in their prime and at least as big as he is. He hasn't since Castillo, why would anyone think he would now?
