McCloskey will probably beat Prescott without much difficulty.

I don't think he can beat McCloskey. It's a difficult style match up for Prescott, McCloskey I think will win a wide decision.

If he does somehow manage to beat him, I'd have no issue with Khan taking him on as a stay busy fight, i.e. >2 months after a big fight. He doesn't really have anything to prove in it, but it's always nice to avenge a defeat, even if it is a freak win.

Prescott can definitely beat McCloskey. His very rangy jab and hard right hand will find it's mark consistently. McCloskey's slippery, but I don't think he's cagey enough to get enough offense going. Prescott will outbox him, and throw busy combinations from time to time, and earn a decision. His skills, particularly controlling the distance, have improved, and I was impressed with his dominance over Jargal, who was an underrated opponent.

    why not?????
the man knocked Khan the **** out, therefore, Khan has to prove that he can beat Prescott, and not get knocked the **** out again, you see how that works????? :good

    So Khan can choose between:

    Guererro
    Maidana
Morales (the one that had a heroic comeback against Maidana - lets not forget...)
    Ortiz
    Bradley
    Matthysse
    Alexander

...but instead he should fight Prescott?

There is no shortage of worthy fighters right now who want to fight Khan for their big paydays, Prescott isn't one of them.

I would be surprised as hell though if he beats Mccloskey, I just don't see that happening.
