Kelly only has to look competitive in this fight. Built in excuse for the promoter going in. "Bute has a history with favorable treatment in Montreal....."

I'm just making a point that from a promotional stand point, this is a pretty safe fight as long as Kelly is focused. A loss won't put him out of the picture unless he loses badly. Even then, he would have 'measuring stick' fights that he could redeem himself in.

If Bute wins people will just say Pavlik is shot and if Pavlik wins people will say Bute was a hype job. It's going to tell us entirely nothing.

Hope Pavlik batters him, mind you.

Montreal/Quebec City is the boxing capital of the world. I have been to fights all over the world and I haven't seen anything quite like what the fans in Montreal bring. That is why Bute doesn't leave. That is why Hopkins got robbed in fight #1 and STILL returned to fight the rematch.

This is where the money is and why even the best fighters are willing to travel to get the bigger pay days. Pavlik will bring a huge crowd to the Bell Center. It will be a great night of boxing. Make the trip Pavlik fans, win or lose you won't regret the experience.
