If you want to be really specific......you are right.

But its a really really **** thing for George Groves to say, totally **** and uninspiring.

    If Groves would of said.........

    "I want Andre Ward next"

    Or

"I want Andre Ward after my next fight"

This would be worth a thread.

Thats because performances like Groves don't happen that often mate more than anything ;)

It was an inconclusive type of performance. Bit of a mugging really. Would love to see a rematch to see if DeGale clocked onto the fact he got mugged early on. I overrated DeGale though, his footwork was a let down and lack of ring IQ was exposed.

I had Groves winning that fight by a round,by he didn't impress me at all. If JDG hadn't given early rounds away being inactive, he would have walked it.

True. DeGale is very good technically. He isn't smart though, he needs someone to tell him what to do.

George is still young but lets see how the next 12 months pan out, its good to set goals, but who knows who will be the top guy in a year.

Seems unlikely I suppose. I just think they got that round way wrong.

    How is that arrogant?

He's a young up and coming fighter with big aspirations. Of course he wants to aim big and to do that you need to think big. He hasn't come out and said in 18 months time I'll be ready and will KO all the big boys at 168 etc, he's said in 18 months time he hopes that he'll have improved and will have got himself in the position to get a world title shot and hopefully a fight with Ward.

People complain when fighters don't want to fight the best or most meaningful fights in there division, yet when we have one who does they get named as arrogant etc. Choose one or the other...

    Same tbh.

Was it Parris who scored the last even and gave the fight to Groves by 1?

I could not believe that when I saw it.

But when Amir Khan who is a current two belt world champion "Number 1 140 fighter on the planet", says he wants to fight Manny Pac and Floyd Mayweather.

    He gets slated.
