I merely talk about certain obscure fighters more so than other people do. I will admit I have a serious homo-obsession with Mijares and Acosta, but the other guys like Narvaez, Cazares, Poon, Ponce, etc I just like to promote a bit because nobody else ever seems to give a **** about them.

I don't give Pong much credit because he doesn't warrant the amount he gets. I don't really believe in Pound for Pound lists that much, as for the most part they're a popularity contest, but Pong is as high as 6th in some, which is insane. In Kameda, he's beaten one good fighter in about three years, and Koki's only like the 6th/7th best bantam in the world, that catapulted him into the ratings, there's far more fighters around the lower weights who deserve greater attention but don't get it.

He's a skilled fighter for sure.

 

Warrren might have to just pay up for the unification fight with Fana because thats the only legit way to postpone a mandatory. As much as I like Ricky, Broner is bad news if hes on form.

 

I think my thread was the last mention of him before now.

He's an absolutely excellent fighter, well, he was when he was at his best, he's slipping a bit now. But does he seriously warrant the acclaim for what he's doing currently? Granted, he's not exactly a name on everybodies lips, but along with Segura he's pretty much the poster boy for the lower weights right now, and I don't rate the current Pong that highly. For me, his ranking is a lifetime acheivement award as much as anything else, which is odd, because I doubt Iron Boy will get catapulted back up if he beats Raul Garcia.
