Louis wins rather easily. Rocky never gets past the jab and combos. Anybody a prime Louis hits cleanly and easily is not going to last long.

Louis said Marciano would be him because he did not like to be crowded, however he said this right after Marciano defeated him. In their primes, I would slightly favor Louis.

I go back and forth on this one, right now I am going with Rocky by a late stoppage...but 2 weeks ago and from now I may be back on the other side of the fence. I don't think either guy takes the other out easily though!

I go back and forth on this one, too.

A good case can be made for either one of them.

I think if they really could meet and I was betting important money, I'd go with Louis.

I would take Louis to win on a late round stoppage.. I don't think he gets the clean KO but will be punishing Rocky when the ref calls a halt to the bout..

Rocky beats Louis of Godoy I and possibly loses to the Louis of Godoy II.

Good battle early on, back and forth. Rocky landing some of his bombs and Louis setting himself up and feeling out Rocky of course.

I think it ends up to Rocky taking too much punishment and getting stopped late in the fight, probably a barrage of unanswered punches where the referee steps in like others have said.

This fight could go either way. Both had weaknesses the other could exploit. Each Mans style would suit the other in so much as neither would have to look for the other. Louis of course has the physical advantanges of course as well as hand speed and boxing ability. Marciano was the harder puncher I think and has a "stylistic" advantage over Louis in so much as Louis didnt like being pressured. Also, Louis was prone to right hands his entire carrer. The right hand was Rockys' bread and butter, but he could also punch with his left. Louis of course would counter Marcianos' right hands with vicious left hooks and straight rights of his own. The key to beating Marciano or any fighter with that style is to stop their forward movement. The question is can Louis stop Rocky in his tracks with his trip hammer jab and quick combos. Hmm. I'll go with Louis in this one by a thin UD or split decision.

Louis of 1940 KO's / TKO's Marciano of 1952 without doubt................:deal Louis of 1951 was in-shape and capable of being rated in the top-10, but he was faded and slowed at age 37......

Louis and Marciano get ***** slapped by no one. Trust me, Ali would know he was in for the fight of his life against those two.

Vitali Klitschko? He got ***** slapped by Chris Byrd  Ali would do even worse

Louis KO in a fight where he takes a down or two.

 at 67 Ali conclusively whipping either guy when he'd been successfully pressured by inferior fighters.
