His competitive loss to Lennox Lewis is probably greater than any one of his wins quite honestly.

    Samuel Peter
    Herbie Hide
    Corrie Sanders
    Juan Carlos Gomez
    Chris Arreola

Not a great resume, his career defining fight unfortunately was a losing effort against Lewis. While I rate Vitali over Wlad head to head it's hard to rank Vitali over Wlad in terms of resume.

Most Vitali wins would find it hard to even remember 5 of his wins. They only remember his TKO loss to Lennox Lewis.

I agree even though Im a big fan of his. Quite honestly that was an exiting fight and thats why people remember it, plus it was against an ATG.
His fight against Sanders was pretty good too

    I'm not a fan but i'd say it's:

    Peter
    Sanders
    Arreola
    Kirk Johnson
    Hide.

The two best opponents of his career did defeat him.

Beatle, which 5 victories of vitali's do you rate as his best?

    Peter
    Solis
    Juan Carlos Gomez
    Sanders
    Hide

Probably something like that, not in order.

Vitali's five best wins are as follows.

    1./ Samuel Peter
    2./ Kirk Johnson
    3./ Herbie Hide
    4./ Corrie Sanders
    5./ Vaughn Bean

People need to remember that although he was too heavy, Peter was on a big winning streak in 2008. He had won six in a row, and most of those fights were on a big stage in either eliminators or world title fights. On the otherhand Vitali hadn't boxed in four years. Vitali is the only fighter I've ever seen who did not allow Peter to get close to him for one minute, and Samuel's punches literally bounced off his chin.

Kirk Johnson, Herbie Hide, and Vaughn Bean all had sufficient hype behind them when they fought Vitali.

Corrie Sanders had recently experienced a career best win against Wladimir Klitschko.

At what point did vitali's shoulder give out tho? Because from round 5 byrd tapped that arse.

I've heard some reports saying it gave out in the third, others that it gave out in the 9th.

Is there a confirmed timeline for the injury?
