Primetime. Pretty much a disaster all round.

Maybe we see Fury vs Rogan again on the same night and 5 used as an advertising tool for the PPV.

    that will bomb.

as big as he is, mayweather isn't going to get casuals to buy his fights en masse over here, on an obscure channel.

especially as SSN won't promote it much.

    It's on Primetime??!!

How on earth did they manager out-hussle Sky for that? Must have had something to do with Sky's fallout with GBP's other fighter, Khan. Massive props to Primetime for getting their hands on this fight.

Will this be normal viewing or PPV?

Get real man. It's got to be bad news if the biggest fights are not on Sky. Personal 'fallouts' should not affect what I get for my subscription. I resent having to pay again for Prime which (as everybody more or less agrees) is inferior.

I presume the parties involved pushed for PPV which Sky didn't want.
That's the only reason it wouldn't be on Sky, so your subscription wouldn't cover it anyway.

What difference does it make if it's on Sky PPV or Primeime PPV? You're still having to spill £15 for it. The benefit of this is that you don't have to be full-time subscriber to SkySports to get hold of this event. Anyone, Sky or non-Sky customers, can purchase it.

fair point ..... but surely sky could just pay more? GBP must realise that Mayweather v Amir or Pac would be five times as big on Sky.

See i agree that Khan ****ed up by going to prime time but its clear so did SKY. They pissed of the biggest promotional company in America and now they won't get the best fighters. We the customers loose but all in all for me it was a dick move by Sky for not accepting the Judah Khan fight when offerred by Khans team for regular Sky. Now they are paying for it. I for one am thinking of cancelling my sky subscription. Boxing was the main reason i've got it and now skys might not even have golden boy fights

Chances are it wouldn't have been on Sky PPV so that is the big difference i guess. And the fact Primetime is ****
