Fighters who use excuses such as "I wore the wrong socks" or "I'm not wearing the gloves that I wanted" when they don't win should NOT be considered tough.
Shame that Juan M. Marquez isn't even mentioned. This is the only guy who has been extremely competitive against Pac within 24 rounds of war. At the age of 37 JMM is still going strong even though he's been in wars. I'm not going to make a descending list so I'm just going throw all these guys into one stash: JMM, Morales, Maidana, Pac, Vitali, Froch, Donaire, Sergio, Rios, Johnson, Arce Honorable mention: Khan, Gamboa, Lujan, Wolak, Angulo Posthumous award: Edwin Valero
Marcos is a sick ****! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tHoIKZCsOE[/ame] even in defeat he batters his foe! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYFqvXUwVjM[/ame]
maidana isnt all that bad in my opinion. he is the motha****in man haha lol. nah just getting up from that body shot with khan and being relevant in that fight showed alot. anyone who cheats shouldnt be on a list of real men(Margacheato)
6. kelly pavlik 7. carl froch 8. Alfredo angulo 9. vitali klitschko (he would be higher but he boxes too much) 10. James Kirkland
Vitali is a BAMF? He's fighting guys who are smaller & at a physical advantage & lets not forget he quit with an injury that other fighters fought on & won with. Being a BAMF isnt all about knocking opponents out, its also about fighting against the odds, sometimes against guys bigger, fitter & stronger than you. Morales is a BAMF
Morales and Arce are the first 2 names that come to mind. Rios and Maidana are very good shouts as well.
Margarito number 1 Dude fought one of the hardest punchers for 8 rounds with a broken cheekbone and never took a step back.
I think its because he is not known for going toe to toe as much along with being a counter puncher. But yea good shout. The guy has fought Pac twice and been in trouble. He could have pulled a Mosley or Clottey and instead he went on to fight on even terms with him.
