Well, Khan doesn't have one-punch power or anything and I'm sure he doesn't hit as hard as Floyd or Cotto. It's worth mentioning though, that Khan was concentrating on speed and keeping Judah on the outside. He wasn't really sitting down on his shots and certainly didn't catch Zab with any huge, flush punch.

His strategy worked perfectly - no-one has shut Zab down so effectively from the first bell. Even Tszyu needed a round to adjust to him.

Zab shut himself down he didn't want to fight, Khan was wide open many times, if Khan fights Mayweather he will get embarrassed.

Zab said after the fight that he was following the game plan.... WTF kind of gameplan involves you losing the first 5 rounds clearly

And to the actual topic of the thread. Khan has a lot of potential. We will just have to wait and see where his career goes. To match Mayweather now is a mistake IMO. He will most likely get a once sided beating which could affect his confidence forever. His chin will also be questioned for all eternity

Yes it is, but legit statement still. Hell, Mayweather himself is fighting a poorer opponent that Khan has faced (Maidana > Ortiz).

He was clearly using a refined version of McCloskey's masterful game plan. All you have to do is last until the twelth round and then hit Khan with a hayemaker after he's got tired from punching you in the face so much.

His plan was to counter punch Khan...its was as clear as day. Yet Khan was too fast for him, kept him moving/turning, kept being first and kept his distance. I don't remember what round it was but Judah started looking like he found his pace yet Khan started being more agressive. Khan's whole point to this fight was to stay on Judah. It worked. Better than expected I'm sure.

    Khans still young and improving.

I'm sure he'll be on a cotto level before too long... well cotto level minus the crushing power.

I think it was the 3rd, Judah came out faster and did manage to nail Khan with 1 or 2 good shots, but then Amir turned up the heat even more and I think Zab just gave up after the halfway point...

Judah look more competitive against Cotto and Mayweather in the first half of their fight than he did against Khan, where he was getting dominated every round.
