In my original post, I was merely saying that in boxing, you're dealing with two different groups: a boxing promoter and and a boxing organization. In MMA, it's all in one, so it makes it easier for them to sanction a title fight. I never said anything about contracts and salaries until that guy brought them up. But I still stand by what I said. The UFC gives their fans the fights that they want to see.

WBA is the worst. IBF is second because it makes fighters fight so many eliminators for some reason. WBO is next, because it's not that good, it ain't great either. WBC is the best, but has a Mexican bias. The only reason the WBO is even in discussion is because of the men who held those titles such as: Ricardo Lopez, Ivan Calderon, Jorge Arce, Fernando Montiel, Omar Narvaez, JOHNNY TAPIA, Gerry Peñalosa, Nonito Donaire, MARCO ANTONIO BARRERA, ERIK MORALES, NASEEM HAMED, JUANMA MARQUEZ, Oscar Dela Hoya, Corrales, Casamayor, Cotto, MANNY PACQUIAO, Winky Wright, CHRIS EUBANK, NIGEL BENN, JOE CALZAGHE, Riddick Bowe and the two Klitschkos. That said, it's the champion that makes the belt, not the belt. I could care less if you owned the WBC and the WBA, it didn't make Kessler beat Joe Calzaghe when they fought.
