I picked the Cotto fight and im a long time admirer. That fight just summed up for me that he was a truly special fighter, a cut above.

morales 2 just to see him come on strong in the later rounds was beautiful. david diaz was vicious. i was honestly scared for diaz's well being, and the oscar fight was great it was so nice to see this phony fake smiling son of a ***** quit on his stool.

    2. Morales 1
    3. JMM 2
    4. Mab 1

I enjoyed the Cotto fight more (12 Rounds = money for value. See below:)) but voted Hatton - defeating the lineal king of the division in such a decisive & brutal manner holds more cache with me but would've liked Pac to string it out ala Tyson v Biggs :p

Seconded. I went in a Pacfan and came out a fan of both. Diaz went out on his shield. A great warrior! (tho' gifted a decision against Morales!)

The Margarito fight was exhilarating. You got the sense that Margarito might catch Pacman with something big and the fight could change at any moment.

Also loved the Cotto fight. Cotto having some good success the first few rounds but Pacman's speed starts to take over and Cotto is just dominated.

Yeah, but that was probably Pacquiao at his absolute peak, both physically and skillwise.

I don't agree. If you want to see Pac at his most agressive best...that would be Pac/Margo.

    I classify Pacquiao as pre-Diaz and post-Diaz.

So I would say that the Diaz fight is the marker for me (and the one I liked best, maybe).. Pacquiao went up to lightweight and showed me something I'd never seen from him- a right hand that had become equal to his left hand, better effective movement.. better everything.

I go way back for my favorite, and only because it made me look like a genius to my buddies. And I'm talking about the Ledwaba fight.
I remember seeing Pac as a bantamweight against some undefeated prospect, and beating the crap out of him. I remember thinking this guy is really good, and really big for bantamweight. I remembered noticing how ****all thick his calf muscles were.
Anyway, when I heard that Ledwaba had took him as a replacement for Enrique Sanchez in his title defense, I said to my friend that this Panamanian kid would KO Ledwaba.
I looked a little stupid for getting the nationality wrong, but I looked like a damn expert for picking the late replacement to KO the very highly-regarded champion.
