How depressing will it be when the Klitschkos retire

I really will have tears in my eyes. Their the best fighters I've ever witnessed in my generation and I know that they will retire on top and not retire in a bad way like running away from a fighter or refusing another a rematch (we've seen a lot of greats do this, one involves Vitali).

It'd just be a sad day to see total ring perfection finally leave. I really hope Wladimir can fight until maybe 42 and Vitali get a couple more fights until 42 also.

I like a guy like Adamek but him being Heavyweight champion or Arreola being Heavyweight champion just isn't true. A champ needs to be someone unbelievable, not just a generally good fighter

    This.

I can't wait until 1 of them retires and we no longer have a shared division.

I like the Klits, but when they retire it will be a chance for new champions to rise up. I will remember their reign with appreciation, but will also look forward to seeing what happens when such dominant champions vacate the field.

Vitali is going to retire before Wlad (barring some freak accident for Wlad) and that will also be interesting - watching to see how Wlad attempts to unify all the belts. Having one dominant champ with all the belts will be great - each fight will feel like the real title fight. The stakes will be higher. Good times.

Once Wlad retires, we might see people actually fighting each other again. His dominance seems to dissuade other fighters from even bothering to try. When the top ten is filled with guys who don't think they can be champ, and don't even try, then it's unhealthy.

Depends on which circumstances they retire.

I if Wlad retires without 'career defining fight (or fourth loss) I can imagine him coming back to fight if the title holder is seen as a worthy opponent/$$$$.

    Like Holmes against Tyson.

Vitali retired in 2005 i did not miss him.

It would be very sad when Wlad retires. I hope he will retire as the unify Champ.

You'll see mediocre guys going back and forth with the belts, with maybe somebody solid racking up a string of defenses. Depressing for some. More exciting for others.
