I think both mayweather and pacquiao could take a victory against martinez at 160. Slightly easier for mayweather to get the win.

I'd be interested to see how well he carries his power up.

How do you think he'd go about it? Are you talking the Hopkins of today, or some years ago?

if rehydration clause between pac and martinez at 160lb max for the 154fight, fight might happen. Still, dangerous fight for pac.

    :bump

I'm going to go ahead and claim that Andre Ward could feasibly dethrone a Klitschko.

Quick review of my original post. 1998 de la Hoya vs 1980 Sugar Ray Leonard has yet to happen, these sorts of fights take time to sort out however.

Donaire vs Cabellero or Lopez...I think Donaire would beat them both given a year or two after that prediction.

Marquez vs Pacquiao at 147. Well...

Pac vs MArtinez is a good one.

I have Pac clearly ahead of Mayweather if he beats Martinez.

He has the skills and i don't think he'll ever lose a fight in his prime, but i don't think he has the punch resistance.

Juan Manuel Marquez vs JCC is possibly my all time favourite fight. It's impossible to 'out-dog' either man, but one surely would be in this fight.

JMM vs Cotto at 154 would be one that would fit the thread subject imo. Cotto is an excellent combination puncher and WOULD land hard and often on Marquez, but it's not beyond the realms of possiblity that Juan could win imo.

Good post, agree on all points.

I wonder how filled out Ward could get. Imagine Wlad is still around in 4 or 5 years and Ward is already LHW king?
