Why do people want to watch Hopkins vs Dawson?

    Johnson world class for donkeys years :lol:.
    Johnson wasnt world class at MW
    Johnson wasnt world class at SMW first time around
    Johnson had a good run at LHW beating C level Woods, the worst version of Jones and B- level Tarver.
    Johnson has lost more than he has won at SMW.
    Johnson is 8-3-1 in world title fights or if you include his WBU SMW fight he is 9-3-1 in world title shots and has lost his last 5 title attempts. Who has Johnson beaten since he lost to Tarver, thats in the mix :huh

    Because we're boxing fans. Not just euro, not just british, but boxing fans. Hopkins is greater than Calzaghe, always has been always will be.

    Hopkins is clearly past his physical best, that was evident back in 05, showed more in 08-11.

    What makes him still a tough opponent and seperates him from other fighters who retire once their bodies start underperforming:-

    Ring intelligence, he has mastered the defensive side to boxing, mastered the craft and knows all the tricks dirty or clean.

    BHop went from an aggressive MW to a technical fighter. Successful fighters above 40+ need this. None of that bull**** of not seeing Archie Moore live, watch him on youtube, Hopkins is cut from that cloth.

    Calzaghe didnt have this to the level of BHop, as he was a man who strictly relied on outworking rather than outboxing. So you saw him retire once his body weakend instead of pushing the boundries of greatness like BHop is doing.

    I guess real boxing fans know that presently the 2 best boxers at 175lbs are Hopkins & Dawson, therefore it's a natural to wanna watch it.

    I haven't seen anyone seriously say Hopkins is shot. Hopkins is clearly well past his prime now, his hand speed is not what it was, his stamina and punch out put is at about 60% of what is once was and while never a great puncher his power has declined.

    Hopkins is past his prime, his fights against Wright and Cazlaghe prove that. Hopkins is still able to fight at a high level because he has a strict diet and he keeps himself healthy.

    Hopkins has been past his prime since losing to Taylor twice.

    I expect Dawson to beat Hopkins really bad, people will be shock on how Dawson easily beats him.
