My dance card would be full too, M, if I had to face Pryor You make a logical case, but I don't see anybody -- big or small -- keeping Pryor off over the championship distance.

If it's true, I'll have to accept it, H. But I can't imagine Pryor walking away from Godzila.

Pryor talked about it after his fight with Blackmoore.

He felt Ray low balled him with the offer so he rejected it. He ended up making more against Arguello, as I'm sure the CBS exposure helped his market value.

Watching older fights on network TV annoys me when you look at the state nowadays. Network TV on the weekends would be great for mainstream exposure.

Leonard wanted no part of Pryor. Pryor was dangerous........don't know that Pryor beats SRL, but he had an out side shot. Leonard wanted no part of him, and never gave him a shot, but there was no reason for Ray to give him a shot.....

and Pryor beats Pacquiao all day every day.:good

Pryor was dope for sure. His style was just amazing for fans, two fisted non stop etc... he just had a short prime with not a lot of names, and was in an era with with four even greater legends.

Leonard gave Pryor a shot by offering him a fight.

Why would Pryor decide to make up an imaginary offer he received from Leonard? What good would be it to talk about a phony lowball offer you rejected?

Well when Tszyu was dominating 140 a few years back and rated as possibly the greatest JWW ever, Pryor's name was constantly brought up on forums by Tszyu's detractors to challenge that. Now that Tszyu's retired and we haven't seen anyone as great at 140 you don't hear Pryor's name too often anymore.

Agreed. I can see Pryor taking an early spill to the canvas though.
