Great shots of this hard and tigerish Dempsey. Not for nothing, did Jack Dempsey leave
such an impression on the boxing establishhment of his time.One of his sparring partners above was most likely Big Bill Tate or George Godfrey...

 

Fun picture! But, well...I may be made to look foolish and regret saying this...

But that picture doesn't look like an authentic 'old' illustration to this artist's eyes.

The artist who produced it has talent, yes. And he may have even tried to make it look like an old illustration...But it looks to me like he has been influenced by 1980s art styles. Post Frazetta, I'm sure of it.
