Vitali lost two times, no shame there. He still is the No. 1 heavyweight these days. He would beat his brother, cause unlike him he´s a true warrior. Wlad is just a boxer, not a fighter. His game is to avoid a fight.

ino he did..regardless of what his haters say wlad is also a tough guy..i found it really funny when haye was saying wlad was a ***** and wasnt tuff esp when he said he coulnt throw his right hand because it was broke against valuev.but wlad continued to throw it against brewster...

I really think the CUT6 loss against LL was a legitimate loss. There should have been a rematch, but almost any sane boxfan agrees wih that.

I don't think he will ever lose on points or by T/KO in his career, unless he fights on until he's like Ali at 38 (who looked 50 at the time). If he retires inside 2 or maybe even 3 years I think he's fine.

the level of opponent doesnt make the injury hurt more, in the short term williams had a more debilitating injury than klit in that fight and continued.

No it doesn't hurt more or less. But it's a difference between KO-ing a high journeyman class opponent in the same round you get injured, and fighting multiple rounds against a top level guy who you know you can't KO anymore.

I still think he shouldn't have quit, but you just can't compare those 2 situations.

williams vs potter was a closer fight than klit byrd
williams injury first occurred early in round 3, and he carried on through a worsening injury
klit just to defend for 3 rounds as he was already up a long way on the cards.

In that case I should give him props... I thought he injured himself in 6 and ended it in 6 also. Brave man. :good
But it clearly stays a real difference in level, not really comparable.

the difference in level of opponent isnt relevant, as williams was closer to potters level than klit was to byrds

Klit was leading by 2 rounds on all judge score cards...if klit hadnt been hit so often it wouldnt have been stopped for one...secondly klit needed 60 + stitches, doesnt matter how you win in boxing, if that fight was allowed to go another lets say...2 more rounds, lewis wouldve brutally knocked him out, klit couldnt even see, so lets stop with that rant about ' VITALI WAS BEATING LEWIS' 2 more rounds think about it. Oh and lewis stopped nearly all of his opponents from the 6th onwards, i say klit got a lucky break.

Wlad broke!! his hand against Brewster in round 1 and he did not inform his team, just continue to fight.

Wladimir is a very tough fighter and very very skilled boxer.

Wlad would win against Vitali no doubt about it.
