the fact he sparred Pacman makes me think he might have a chance to upset. He knows the moves of Pacman and could probably extend it and win a decision at 140. Not at 147

hes not rdy yet . in a year or two maybe, pac is starting to slow down. i dnt think Freddie Roach would let that fight happen anyway.

I agree with you probably in not being ready. The one thing most guys give Pacman is the brawl he wants to land his punches. But he is so fast, most guys have not choice but to brawl him. Khan might be faster than Pacman. That is the key to beating Pacman. Speed.

He was walking Pac down nicely and winning exchanges, but Pac's punches are so much shorter and accurate.

Pac would always tag him with something big and finish him, he also has superior footwork. I like khan but he actually matches up better vs floyd than he does vs pacquiao.
    Look what happens at 01:24

Khan is getting some great experience getting to train and spar with a master like Pacquiao.

Pac is landing those uppercuts. They are just sparring and werent hard, but in a match, who would fold first, Pac from Khans shots on the outside or Khan from Pac's inside work and uppercuts?

    Pac would destroy him

Both of them would loose against Floyd. So they mine as well fight one another.

Sparring with Pac has been a huge benefit to him. The experience he's gaining is invaluable.

Good sparring, but Pac shows at the 28 second mark why he's so good. In a real boxing match, Khan would be hurt badly from that combo.

I remember this was back when Khan first started training with roach. Roach Probably told Pac to ease off on khan coz he wants Khan to have a little confidence. Making khan think that he was able to spar with Pac and get a little edge on the p4p king. Notice how Pac kinda increased the level a little bit and Khan lost his balance?

Pacquiao is getting older, Khan is in his prime. Inevitable but Khan will never be the great that Pacquiao is.

That's a huge boost for both men. It's hard to express how much it means to have world class sparring like that.

BTW, Pac isn't the kind of guy who would be overly impressive in sparring anyways. Big gloves, headgear... he's a kind guy as well so you know he isn't going to brutalize all of his partners who are there to help him. Pac is the kind of guy who is a completely different animal under the big lights.

    Khans defense is so poor.
Pacquiao was almost landing at will.
