What does Wlad need to do to be ranked higher than Holyfield, Frazier, Foreman?

4-5 more years of dominance. Picking up the WBC strap when his brother retires.

If he can do this, and can retire on top, then he just has to wait another 5 years after that and people will be ranking him in the top 10 ATG at heavy.

    Exactly.

If Wlad defends his title 6 more times I would have him at #10 (possibly better than that, even 8). Currently have him at 13.

I can not see how anyone would leave him out of a ATG Top Ten Ranking at that point. His stats are incredible and exhibit what he does in the ring.

Casual boxing fans are going to see that he has several title defenses, multiple belts, and was champion for several years as well.

People will unanimously put him there.

Why does he have to rank higher then them.

I guess if he remains dominant and keeps on picking off "contenders" for 5 more years then its possible, but i dont see it

I suspect both of them to retire soon enough

Hoyfield ducked Sanders, and While I think the other 2 definitely beat him, they ALL lose badly to Wladimir.

if there never appears a legit elite level hw challenger that wlad beats up before he retires, wlad may never be viewed as above some of the guys mentioned. but if he keeps dominating b and c level guys he'll have to be ranked high. if he could force himself to take more chances and start pounding some of these 'contenders' out early and in style, then that would help alot with his rep

Back in the day Lewis used to get huge stick too for his resume, now look at his status.

Wladimir can beat 10 straight Haye/Povetkin/Peter/Chagaev/Brock level fighters, but it's not going to shoot him past Holyfield. Perspective, people.

Vlad would have knocked Holyfield out in Holyfield's prime, look what Bowe did to Holyfield! He would have stopped Foreman and easily stopped Frazier, but he can't go back into time to prove it to the delusional "sour grape" idiots!

Foreman of the 70s starches Wlad in 4 rounds or less. It's not even debateable among non-fanboys.

Wlad has dominated the scene like Lewis.

However, Lennox beat an old Holyfield and also beat Vitali Klitschko. Also, he avenged all his loses. That's the difference. That's why I rank Lennox as #3 and Wlad in the lower part of my Top10.

if wlad beats the best of the younger hws coming through, and hope the next era is strong and one of his opponents goes on to be great, wlads win against a future atg will then cement his legacy

Invent a time machine, go back in time and beat some of the ATG heavyweights.
