I have only seen three of his fights, neither opponent lasted even one entire round, so it's hard to tell for me how good he is. I know he's a southpaw, has a great punch variety, is kinda small but quick, throws lots of punches (only early on?) ... Thank you!
he's being overhyped because sadly he's one of the best prospects but hes nothing special he's a southpaw with reasonable speed and ok power and he has a good amateur pedigree he also won the prizefighter international tournament but hes too small and doesnt have the speed or upper body movement required at the higher levels and is a little fleshy and known for not training that hard and if your stamina is being questioned this early in your career whilst your still doing six rounders it cant be good however i hope he goes far or at least they interview him more cos his accent is half cuban half irish and completely priceless
he is small for a HW but u cant say he doesnt have speed. still needs some big tests to see where he belongs,i will say fight Arreola.
The way he steamrolled prizefighter was impressive...Agree an Arreola fight would be great! Fireworks in perspective...
You don't need much balls to beat up cans in the US. Have you ever seen the opponent list of the US Heavies? :hey
hahaha move to the usa, what and fight kevin mcbride? id rather he fight the bums fury/chisora than most of the usa cans. he looks promising, he demolished prizefighter without a sweat on, and he was not fleshy on that, he was stacked, he is short but a arreola/adamek fight would be great to watch.
Perez is a joke, he's tiny, short armed and has no power. He's not even a real prospect, he's just gotten a ton of unjustified exposure winning the Prizefighter tournament. There's a reason why he's with some no name Irish promoter.
I've seen over half of his fights, so you sure don't know what you're talking about. I just know how to evaluate talent. Guy is small and can't punch.
