Demers is a guy that was fighting out of Montreal for most of his career and started fighting at 154lbs. I saw many of his fights and can assure you that he has as much power at 168lbs as Paulie Malignaggi would have at 154lbs.

Demers is a very average boxer but with quite a decent jab if he ever brings his ''A'' game into the ring.

I understand this is only a come back fight for Dirrell and it's OK considering his long layoff, but some boxing writer on BOXING NEWS 24, made it sound like he's trying to hype Demers way more than he really should be....

Just so you know from a credible source, truth is Demers is an ordinary boxer with an above average jab; he has no power at that weight per say; very little footwork or head movement; ordinary speed and a shaky chin that dates back to his early days at 154lbs.....

Dirrell will look like a super hero in that fight cause he won't be afraid to get hit while landing anything he wishes. I seriously doubt it goes beyond round 7. Trust me !!

That website isn't the best, no disrespecting the writers but yep. Watch just one Demers fight and you'll see how ordinary he is. Should last a few rounds but I'd like to see Dirrel make a statement with a KO inside 6 rounds.

Strangely, it's not on the HBO schedule, despite MichiganWarrior's insistence that Dirrell had signed some super secret contract with HBO.

    Dos. (FNF & Solo Boxeo).

We'll see how the timing works out for Boxeo Telemundo, with Jardon vs. Tellez. If it conflicts with Solo Boxeo, the hell with it. Shumenov vs. Santiago is my late-night priority.

AFAIK, Wach-McBride isn't televised anywhere. :conf I do know my man Jose Antonio "El Gallo" Rivera is continuing his comeback on the undercard, and I'd be there live tonight if I'd won any of his ticket giveaway trivia contests on his Facebook page. :!: WAR EL GALLO!

Guess it's a responsability for the mentally sain to every now and then, monitor the '' Enquire type stuff '' in order to keep at least some of the weirdos at bay...

....and might as well well clarify it now before ESB's own weirdos get more material to spread here. ;)

Dirrell's next opponent is a guy brian vera tko'd? Sounds about right
at the level for dirrell after a KO defeat to come back to. KO'd he
would've been had he not acted out of the fight against AA. Direll's
a bum, so he should be fighting bums.
