    That guy at super bantamweight Steve Molitor has a very decent left to the body I thought

    Bute is very good at finding the same shot.

    I know he's not British - but Hearns left to the body was fantastic. In the Barkley fight he was shutting down Iran with that left, it was something to behold. Hearns left to the body is also one of the most aesthetically pleasing that you will see.

    Benn was a brilliant body puncher, but that was longer than 10 years ago!
    Hatton was excellent, best I can think of, certainly in Britain.
    James Toney battered Holyfield with body shots whenever than was.

    Used to love this guy. The tree surgeon from Harlow. He was the British equivalent of Arturo Gatti. Took an absolute pasting from Bobby Vanzie and Yuri Ramanau who went on a tear destroying a number of British fighters including Vanzie and Murray in devastating fashion. You ask me he was far better body puncher than Hatton especially domestic level. Hattons body punching is overrated.

    Yep i wouldn't argue with that Scurla. He was quality i was just starting out in Boxing and loved the bodywork so i took a liking to Murray's style. He prided himself on his bodywork.

    The Vanzie Murray highlights was on Youtube for a while. Brilliant fight from that domestic era.

    When i look at the LW's of the late 90's/early's 00's.
