Rigondeaux facing disaster?

He's not the most talented fighter he has maybe the best shot to the body. He was outworked by Cordoba in a terrible fight

 

total bs. he is the most talented in his division and cordoba, were did you see outworking him, dude was feinting punches all the time, basicly doing not much besides counter punches, n you call that outworking hehe..

 

I see it being pretty even and actually would favor Rigo. Gamboa still makes mistakes and a guy like Rigondeux would make him pay. Imagine guys like Salido were able to catch Gamboa off balance. Rigo would be able to do the same but also Salido took alot of punishment which i dont think Rigo would be able to take....

yeah, it has been disappointing. if he is so good as people say he is, he should be facing the best.

 

That's because Rigo is soooo used to winning and doing that! Remember that Rigo only lost 1 amateur fight in 10 years?! That's why. Also, many Cuban fighters are like that in the sense that they don't show much emotions since they have been fighting since 6 or 7 years old for hundreds of fights. Fighting for them is just another day at the job.

 

I don't remember the fight like it was yesterday but Rigo was doing pretty much nothing so it wasn't hard to outwork him. Anyway after that fight I'm not looking forward to seeing him fight again, if you think that he is the future GOAT that's ok for me.

 

he is not a big draw and is a high risk opponent uphill climb all the way for him really

 

I am also beginning to think that Rigo is stuck in Limbo. Since he defected very late, he should have been fighting every month and fighting the best since early on. Rigo is so good that he would have beaten anyone even starting his pro career. Let's just hope that he at least wins a World Title or two. :verysad

Guillermo is fighting rico ramos for a the belt!!!!

Rig was suppose to fight the chino..but the chino wanted to face ramos.
So the sanctioning bodies,the chino and ramos agreed the winner had 2 face guillermo!
So no fear..brother.....he has a chance to get another belt and that will def put him in the brighter lights!!!!!!1

Rigo will be fighting soon, and hopefully against Ramos and will that will result in him winning his 2nd belt in just 9 fights.

Not as bad as it seems.
