Would Khan be better advised staying at LWW next year?

too big for the weight. if he keeps having to train harder to make the wieght he'll become weaker. if i was him i'd have one more ight then move up. the only fight that matters is bradley, and if that doesn't happen then he should move up.

Pretty much this. Khan has a massive upper body, and there was a noticeable difference in size when he was in there with Judah.

As a whole right now, lww is stronger than ww imo. If he can still make the weight, he should stay and cement a legacy for himself there.

If he is struggling to make weight then he should move up soon. He doesn't want to get to the point where he is dehydrated and gets KOd.

If the weight is OK then he should fight the Morales-Barrios winner for a 3rd belt (I dont like it, but it makes sense from his perspective), and then face either Bradley (if the opportunity is still there) or Guerrero-Maidana winner.

That takes him to next summer. He could fight one more guy at 140 and THEN move up, fight Mayweather in Winter 2012 and then Ortiz in 2013.

Assuming he keeps winning or has very competitive defeats, obviously.

It does seem that either way he has a bright future mapped out for him.

I can see Khan etching out a legacy similar to DLH. Losing a few big fights, winning a lot and avoiding no one. Of course it's still too early to tell right now though.

Khan has a great opportunity at 140. He is peaking now and could stay there 2 more years and beat Prescott,Morales and maybe even Marquez. I would like to see him stay there for awhile.

Khan should allow himself time to grow into the 147lb division and be patient, he has Freddy Roach as a trainer and I'm sure Roach will not allow Khan to be cherry picked by Mayweather without ever fighting at 147lbs yet.

Khan should get 2 or 3 fights at 147lbs before even thinking about a fight with Mayweather

am I missing something? besides a WBC belt, what's the sense in fighting a washed up Morales?

why not take on the Guerrero-Maidana winner

or Prescott or Peterson (who'll be IBF mandatory if he wins tonight)

yes this is what i'm thinking mag.

khan already has kot, paulie, maidana, judah, mcloskey under his belt. a few more solid wins and he'll surpass ricky at lww IMO.

For 8 years of fighting as a amateur and Pro Khan has only moved up 5lbs in weight.

Khan needs to upto 147 ASAP.

It'll be Brook. Schaefer keeps talking about Amir's 1st fight at 147 being held in England so he'd be much more likely to fight Brook there than being able to bring Jones over.

Imo (and this is hypathetical) the only fight he needs to have @ 140 is bradley before moving up.

In terms of legacy @ 140 then wins vs Guerrero, Marquez, Morales, Maidana 2, and prescott (avenged only defeat) would look pretty good on his cv.

That said, I think he fights winner of Maidana / Guerrero next and then moves up

He is too weak for WW so staying at LWW makes sense for him,
he needs to wait until PAC and Floyd clear out their schedules and
then chase them with some decent legacy established at LWW.
