Probably 30%-40% of the competitive fights that go the distance (your talking scoring and not actual the verdict then change that to 95%)

    Just the verdict.

You disagree with the judges 1 in 3 times?

In competitive fights that aren't knock over set up jobs (as many fights), then yes pretty much. IF it goes the distance more often that not its going to the home town fighter or the cash cow. Judges are bought and paid for by promoters

I'll give you a few domestics off the top of my head - Vanzie-Earl 1 & 2, Williams-Sprott, Johnny Nelson-Jones - all obvious robberies. John Murray got outboxed by some journeyman earlier in his career, shouldn't have got the decision

Internationally under the radar - Malignaggi got a gift against Ngoudjo, Ngoudjo got robbed against Castillo too from memory. Emanuel Augustus was robbed in half of his losses and some very obvious ones. Glen Johnson was robbed in quite few fights. Hopkins nephew got a horrible gift against Forbes

There's loads more, I just can't think off the top of my head. Definitely thought Quartey beat Delahoya, and the judge who had Oscar beating Quartey had Oscar losing to Trinidad :nut

    just rewatched reid calzaghe

    R-C

1: 9-10 not much happened but joe got off a couple of clean combos and fought well behind the jab
2: 9-10 very good ring generalship by joe, slips a lot of reid's counter shots.
3: 9-10 joe dominating behind his jab, hand and head movement too quic for reid to get a foothold.
4: 9-10 joe in control here, flashy combos and some good counter jabs. reid getting flustered.
5: 10-9 reid timing joe much better in this round, slipping and landing good shots.
6: 10-9 scrappy round, reid displays better ring generalship and his punches seem more effective
7: 10-9 another scrappy round. joe held his ground better but reid still looks like the general in there and is landing the harder shots.
8: 8-10 clear joe round plus a point deduction to boot.
9: 10-9 reid looks a lot stronger than joe and is hitting him with well timed hard shots
10: 10-9 more of the same from reid with the harder cleaner punches and the superior defence.
11: 9-10 reid looked like the ring general but his defence was shockingly open to joe's right hand.
12: 9-10 good strong finish by joe, his bounce his back and he makes reid miss on the inside landind quick snappy combos.

    Final score 112-115 calzaghe.

I agree with allot of your picks but these 2 are poor calls imo, I don't think there's a justification for them going the other way on 10 point must round by round basis

Did you edit that from your OP, I thought I saw it as you having Reid beating JC, I was going to comment as I didn't think it was a robbery, then it seemed to disapear, either that or its been a long day

Luis Alberto Perez W 12 over Dmitry Kirillov was the worst decision I have ever seen in my life. I had it 119-110 for Dmitry. I saw it live. Crowd booed the decision loudly. Even this girl I was with who never heard of boxing in her life thought Dmitry clearly won

The first fight was excellent. Good action and wonderful skills shown. The rematch was alright.

The third fight was boring and I recommend to not bother watching it.
