OK, so ill wait and "hope" i get a fight against pac/floyd, which i have no chance of winning by the way, but i "hope" to get good terms for the fight LOL

Why not just beat khan and unify the division, get the ring belt awarded and then go in with a position of power to negotiations?? Because bradley is not sure he can beat khan and has decided, yes, to duck him, its a classic duck, nothing else

He was also due to get at least 1.6 mil (maybe more) as well as 50/50 on khans uk cash

Let him sit on his belts, he will eventually get stripped, nobody at the end of the day likes duckers

I've always said if anyone thinks you duck Amir Khan out of fear, to instead fight Manny ****ing Pacquiao, you cannot be a bright human being. He made the right move and it will pay off. He's just been proven correct.

Haha and where is Amir now. Chasing fights with Lamont Peterson. All that **** he talks like is on that mega star level. Piece of humble pie because he don't even have a big fight op for him.

Yeah...but essentially it means he made that business decision because he feared he would lose to Khan, therefore the premise that he ducked him and feared him is true.

Sometimes it isn't wise for ESBers to make accusations without any understanding of what's going on behind the scenes.

Clearly Bradley knew a Pacquiao fight was within grasp.

Khan isn't in a great position right now; it's like his short term career plans have been pulled from underneath him.

It's not so much fear as risk vs reward.

Mosley signed to Top Rank - gets Pacquiao bout.
Marquez signs to Top Rank - gets Pacquiao bout.
Bradley signs to Top Rank - gets Pacquiao bout.

Bradley already knew he was getting a bout with Pacquiao. Smart move on Bradley's part.

I was of the opinion that Bradley-Khan was a 50-50 bout. Even though Bradley got the bout he wanted, I bet he is kicking himself that he didn't take the Khan bout now...he would have beaten the version that showed up against Peterson comfortably IMO. In turn, made this bout that touch more mouth watering...and also thrown Bradley's name about more.

Bradley already beat Peterson, so what does that leave Amir "best" at?

Well, yeah, but the decision is based on feeling inadequate to win. Theres fear involved or he wouldnt refuse the fight. If there was no fear of losing he'd take that big payday twice a week and on sundays.

Still if he gets to fight Pacman then it is good sense because he'll get a bit more money for it. Seems to me a guaranteed decent payday is better than a possible in-the-air but bigger payday. If he was already getting the fight then great for him.

    It was still a duck.

Rather than unifying the 140 division he chose to be inactive for the best part of a year and then fight Casamayor before moving up.

He completely avoided fighting Khan and it's not like he was doing anything worthwhile in that year he avoided him.

Yeah, the Pacquiao fight, good on him. That's irrelevent as to whether he ducked Khan in the past year or not.

Nah, he was having problems with his promoter also (one of the reasons for his inactivity). Khan was given **** for not taking the Bradley bout when Bradley wanted it (I wouldn't class that as Khan ducking Bradley), instead Bradley beat Alexander and unified the division again. Bradley not taking Khan up on the bout when Khan wanted it is very similar to the before mentioned situation when Khan wasn't quite ready for it. Bradley has had his sights on Mayweather or Pacquiao for a while. Like I have said, I bet he is kicking himself after seeing what Peterson did to Khan.

    Soz.
