IB doubt youd want to watch the fight, worse world title fight i have seen live and only the second worse title fight ive seen (the first being dib vs lueveno) i doubt the mexican would win many fights against anyone in the top 10... and dib just ran and show ponied most of the fight, but he is a world champ, so congrats to him for that

Not surprised this match was tough to watch with Dib doing lots of his usual dancing. Wont win Dib any fans overseas. Congrats to him and his team tho. Lacierva was the easy part as if Dib wishes to keep this ibf belt far more tougher challenges will lie ahead!

:readthre: Nobody was able to see it unless they were there. We haven't heard and won't hear from anyone on how Dib looked except for people who were there in the flesh (which logic dictates is going to tend to be a pro-Dib bunch).

Just as i was told, Dib had to stay away from the mexican because if he got caught he was going to sleep, Dib isnt tough, doesnt have a granite chin etc, he is very beatable, relys on his boxing speed and accuracy to get him through, which is why its sounding like he has boxed off the back foot all night and the fight was pretty farkn boring, no wonder he was droped like a turd by Delahoya and co, you cant sell dancing with the stars to boxing fans, unless of course you are DannyGreen and you really do dance with the stars haha

The 1st Mandatory Dib will loose the title, dont be suprized if they defend it a couple of times to make some money then vacate the belt and he will say he is going up in weight to win another one.

Goes to show, you dont have to earn a title fight anymore, you just have to know the right people! Cough Ray Wheatly. I

Legit? can you tell me exactly how he got this title shot? it wasnt from fighting the top brass thats for sure, just have a look at his boxrec records. It was a gift from Ray Wheatly, he will not hold onto it for long.

Aussie Aussie Aussie and he fights like a cat? running most of the fight

Maco -187 was spot on in his assessment. An awful fight and this is Dib's problem,.He ran ,danced, pushed and held, shooting off occasional quick flurries of light but scoring punches. The mexican was one dimensional, coming forward head down and unable to tag Dib. He had no plan B. The scores were correct in my view, Dib winning clearly. I have now seen him live 3 times. I will not watch him live again. Too many of his fights are like this. They are just plain boring to watch. Apart from his middle eastern fans , I fear Billy is not marketable to a wider audience.
